Democratic Congresswoman Grace Meng of New York appeared on CNN's New Day on Thursday, March 18, to respond to the racist anti-Asian sentiment that came to a head with this week's shooting in Atlanta, Georgia.

On the air, Meng played several bigotted voicemails she's received which baselessly connect her, an Asian American woman, to the global pandemic.

Meng also shared several recordings on Twitter.

The New York Congresswoman called out Republicans who have villified Asians in the eyes of their constituents.

Twitter was disgusted by the racism Meng and other Asians have been forced to confront.

Meng used these messages to demonstrate how President Trump's hateful rhetoric surrounding the virus has affected Asians.

Hopefully Meng's efforts wake some CNN viewers up to the racist treatment many Asians face in the United States.

Following the eight deaths in Atlanta this past Tuesday, March 16, America is working through its treatment of Asians and coming to terms with the racism that so often goes unnoticed or is denied by the majority.

GOP Rep. Dragged After Introducing Bill To Give Greenland A Truly Unhinged New Name

Republican Representative Buddy Carter of Georgia was criticized after he submitted a bill that would change the name of Greenland in the event President Donald Trump successfully purchases it.

Greenland is an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark and is, alongside the Faroe Islands, the only other autonomous territory within the Kingdom. Citizens of both Greenland and the Faroe Islands are full citizens of Denmark. As one of the Overseas Countries and Territories of the European Union, Greenland’s citizens are also recognized as EU citizens.

Thousands Of Danish Citizens Sign Petition To Buy California From U.S. In Epic Troll Of Trump

If you've ever considered moving to California, now is the time to act, because it might soon be part of Denmark, thank God.

Not really (well, probably not anyway), but that is what the European nation is telling the Trump Administration after its attempts to "buy" Greenland, which is not even for sale.

People Share The Weirdest Things About Their Country's History

I don't know about the primary education system outside of the United States, but when you're in elementary through high school in the U.S., your history classes can get very repetitive. Despite the wide breadth and depth of our nation's history, my history classes always seemed to cover the same narrow focus over and over.

My history classes were very whitewashed and focused on projecting American exceptionalism.
