Amused Residents Watch As A Group Of Mountain Goats Overtake Their Town And Feast On Their Hedges During Lockdown

The lockdown has everyone acting a little strange. Even animals. A gang of goats has been spotted strolling around the deserted streets of a seaside town since people are staying in.

Resident and reporter Andrew Stuart captured the moment the mountain goats took advantage of the empty roads in Llandudno, North Wales.

Stuart, who works for the Manchester Evening News, said he called the police after joking that the animals were breaking isolation rules by gathering in a large group and not keeping the required six feet apart on Friday night.

“They were probably going to run riot on the town, what with nobody being about due to the lockdown," Stuart said he noticed the goats having "a midnight feast" on hedges, tweeting.

“I also wasn't sure if they were keeping the required two metres apart."

He said North Wales Police officers attended the scene in a patrol car.

“I'm sorry if the goats got arrested. But they were being very naughty," he added.

But the animals returned over the weekend and were still destroying garden bushes in Trinity Square in the town centre, and sleeping in a churchyard on Monday.

Twitter did not disappoint.

Stuart said that although the Great Orme “goat overlords" usually only leave their territory on the coastal headland to take refuge in the outskirts of the village in windy weather, “they're now going further than ever."

The Great Orme headland is home to a herd of around 200 wild goats, which are thought to be descended from a pair of Indian goats presented by the Shah of Persia to Queen Victoria in 1837.

North Wales Police have been contacted for a comment.

Old Video Of Marco Rubio Warning Republicans About Supporting Trump Resurfaces—And It's On Point

In the wake of President Donald Trump's lie that Ukraine was to blame for Russia sending troops into the country three years ago, a 2016 video of then-Florida Senator Marco Rubio making a prescient prediction about Republican support for Trump is going viral.

On Tuesday, after Ukraine President Zelenskyy called out his country's absence from U.S.-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia, which were attended by Rubio, Trump slandered Zelenskyy by repeating Russian talking points blaming Ukraine for the war.

Zelenskyy Drops Brutal Truth Bomb About Trump's 'Disinformation' After Trump Blamed Ukraine For Russian War

After President Donald Trump claimed Ukraine was at fault for the war with Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made an accurate observation about the "disinformation space" Trump lives in.

On Tuesday, Trump showed little patience for Ukraine’s objections to being left out of the U.S.-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia. He repeatedly stated that Ukraine’s leaders should never have let the conflict begin, suggesting Kyiv should have made concessions to Russia before its troops invaded in 2022.

People Are Trolling Trump Hard Thanks To MapQuest's New Customizable Map Tool

People are cackling after the mapping company MapQuest announced it has no intentions of changing the Gulf of Mexico to the "Gulf of America"—and instead has created a "Gulf Map Generator" that allows people to troll President Donald Trump by renaming the body of water however they'd like.

On his first day in office, Trump signed an executive order changing the "Gulf of Mexico" to the "Gulf of America." The order also reversed an Obama-era decision and changed the name of the Alaskan mountain "Denali" back to "Mount McKinley."
