Haines, host of Good Morning America, recently tweeted about online trolls who have repeatedly asked if she was pregnant.

She responded with an important lesson about body shaming and why asking such questions is rude.

"I've had 3 babies & I love the way I look, little belly pooch & all," Haines stated.

"It's NOT ok to ask a woman if she is pregnant. It's a delicate topic & you never know what journey someone is on. It is also flat out body shaming when you say someone looks pregnant. #bebetter#liftwomenup"

The GMA host has received both positive responses and negative backlash, with some continuing to body shame her.

Haines responded to the negative tweets, claiming that those who felt the need to continue body shaming were simply proving her point.

She also posted a follow-up tweet explaining the outfit so many took issue with.
