Deadpool and Mandalorian actress, Gina Carano, received a swift reminder in the past week to think before you post.

Last week, Carano shared a social media post that equated being a Republican today to being Jewish during World War II.

Carano wrote:

"Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors... even by children."
"Because history is edited, most people today don't realize that, to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their neighbors hate them simply for being Jews."
"How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?"

Twitter was in an absolute uproar over the post, and a "Fire Gina Carano" hashtag started trending right away. According to Carano, it also "worked."

Lucasfilm and Disney responded, firing Carano. The fate of her "Cara Dune" character remains uncertain.

They stated:

"[Gina Carano is not employed by us, and there are] no plans for her to be in the future."
"Her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable."

Carano—who previously drew ire for her transphobic and anti-masker posts—was also dropped by her talent agency, UTA, and the production of her Cara Dune action figure by Hasbro was halted.

Carano claimed in an interview with her new collaborator, Ben Shapiro, she found out about her being fired in an unconventional way.

"How I found out [that I was fired] was that I looked on the internet, and you know, you check your Twitter, and I'm trending, and the 'fire Gina Carano' hashtag thing worked."

Carano also claimed she was targeted by Disney and Lucasfilm for her Republican views.

"[I felt like I was] watched like a hawk. I had a problem because I wasn't going along with the narrative."
"Just a couple of weeks ago, Lucasfilm asked an artist that they employ to erase my character and put a different character in place. He proudly announced this on Twitter, erased my character, and put another character in place."
"All the fans of Cara Dune were just outraged. They were like, 'Why didn't you add the character? Why did you have to take off her character? Is there something wrong? Is Gina getting fired?"

Carano—who mocked transgender people online—later called her employer's response to her behavior "bullying."

"I've seen the bullying that takes place, and so when this started, they point their guns at you, and you know it's only a matter of time."
"I've seen it happen to so many people, and I just thought to myself, 'You're coming for me. I know you are."
"They're making it very obvious through their employees who were coming for me, and so I was like, 'I'm going to go down swinging and I'm going to stay true to myself.'"

Some fans had Carano's back.

But most were critical of Carano's latest statements.

Through all of this, Carano claimed she grew with the experience.

"I'm a human being, I have so much to learn and grow."
"Being canceled might become trendy one day, but don't think when it happens to you that it's going to be easy."
"It may be one of the hardest things that you've ever been through."
"But each day that goes by... you stop feeling sorry for yourself. You show up."

Carano also stressed this is only the beginning for her.

Carano currently has plans for a show with Ben Shapiro'sThe Daily Wire, but it's unclear what other plans she has up her sleeve.

A 'Fake Egg' Prank Targeting Kids Is Trending On TikTok—But Not Everyone Thinks It's Funny

In a recent TikTok trend, people are presenting young children with "fake eggs" and crushing the egg in their hands to show that the eggs are fake.

In order for this trend to work, the person has to poke a hole into each end of the egg to drain it of its yolk and let the shell dry, so it becomes more brittle and easy to crush, making the prank more believable.

Guy Sparks Debate After Abandoning Girlfriend In Economy While He Booked Himself A First Class Seat On Flight

It's really hard to watch while someone is clearly not being treated well enough by their partner, and instead of accepting the reality check for what it is, they spend their time digging their heels in deeper and defending their partner's honor.

That was certainly true for TikToker Nicole Vawter, or @nicmarievee, anyway, when fellow TikTokers called her partner out on selfishly booking himself a first class seat while his long-time girlfriend sat back in economy.

Guy Sparks Modern Dating Debate With His Unhinged Texts To Woman Who Turned Him Down For Second Date

You know what they say: if a person has to point out how nice they are, they probably aren't really all that nice.

Actions tend to speak louder than words, with an affinity for niceness and kindness being among the best examples. When a person is truly nice and kind, it will come through in their daily attitude and actions without them having to say anything at all.
