If you've been anywhere near the internet the past couple months you've no doubt spent countless minutes, hours, days fawning over the biggest star to hit the airwaves since the dawn of television.

He's tiny, he's green, he's so cute you truly cannot deal.

That's right: The Child, aka Baby Yoda, the star (okay, maybe not technically but CERTAINLY in practice) of writer/director/producer Jon Favreau's Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian.

As of this writing, "baby yoda memes" returns more than 39 million Google results, so it's safe to say nobody has ever had more people screaming:

Giphy

Which is why, when Star Wars creator George Lucas and Baby Yoda finally met the other day, the entire internet lost its collective mind. Please sit down, because the cuteness might be too much to handle.

It all began when Favreau tweeted out a photo of the iconic filmmaking wizard cradling the sweet little fuzzy dude like, well, a baby on The Mandalorian set, and good Lord almighty it's enough to make you forget every problem that has ever happened in the entire history of human existence and any that may arise in the future for the rest of time.

Can you even‽‽

Honestly, the only way this could be better is if Lucas were feeding the big BY his beloved chiccy nuggies and choccy milk.

Anyway, Favreau's immediately-viral tweet had no caption, because a picture this pure surpasses all words, of course.

But the internet sure had plenty to say, because frankly, they're obsessed.

What a blessing to the timeline, indeed.

If you, too, have fallen in love with Baby Yoda, there's a fun story about how Baby Yoda would've been just a CGI mirage if iconic filmmaker (and The Mandalorian costar) Werner Herzog hadn't scolded everyone for even thinking about it.

Thank God for those who speak truth to power.

Liberty! Unity! Chiccy Nuggies!

Bill Gates Says What We're All Thinking About Elon Musk's Politics In NSFW Takedown

After twice flashing a very familiar "hail victory" salute—or "sieg heil" in the original German—during a President Donald Trump inauguration event, South African immigrant Elon Musk found himself facing a lot of backlash from across the globe.

Now one of his fellow billionaires has spoken out about Musk’s influence—or interference—in global politics. Musk’s far-right fascist-leaning political views prompted Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates to get profane in his response.

Dave Franco Opens Up About Getting Inundated With Comparisons To Luigi Mangione

Hollywood star Dave Franco is very much aware of the comparisons being drawn between his likeness and that of alleged murderer Luigi Mangione.

Mangione, the key suspect tied to the shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson on December 4, 2024, became somewhat of a folk hero online for his supposed vengeance targeting the widely perceived negative practices of the U.S. health insurance industry.

Vance Gives Everyone Whiplash With Blatantly Hypocritical Defense Of Trump's January 6 Pardons

Vice President J.D. Vance was criticized for defending President Donald Trump's decision to pardon all of the January 6 rioters to Face the Nation's Margaret Brennan mere weeks after stating that "if you committed violence on that day, obviously you shouldn’t be pardoned."

Rioters imprisoned for their involvement in the attack were released, and judges began dismissing dozens of pending cases on Tuesday following Trump’s sweeping grant of clemency to all 1,500-plus individuals charged in the insurrection.

Jewel Apologizes To 'My LGBTQIA+ Community' For Performing At Inauguration For RFK Jr.

Singer/songwriter Jewel apologized to the LGBTQ+ community for having "caused pain" following her performance at the inauguration for RFK Jr., Republican President Donald Trump's pick for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Jewel performed “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” at the event for RFK Jr.'s “Make America Healthy Again” ball, which many LGBTQ+ members felt was a slap in the face, especially after Trump instituted the effective banning of Pride flags at U.S. government facilities and called for the federal government only to recognize two genders, male or female.
