Garth Brooks Tears Up Talking About How 'Grateful' He Is For Wife Trisha Yearwood

The country music legend got choked up while talking to Kelly Clarkson about Thanksgiving and the things he's most grateful for—including his wife Trisha Yearwood.

When it comes to celebrity relationships, there are a lot of people who think that love isn't genuine between celebrities, or that love is dead, period. But some marriages make fans believe in love forever and ever, amen.

One of those marriages has to be country music's Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. Both are wildly successful on their own, but many fans view the two as a package deal.

Recently on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson asked Brooks to talk about gratitude, saying that no one practiced gratitude quite like the famous country singer.

Brooks pointed out that gratitude comes from waking up and being grateful for the time we've had on this Earth so far. But being excited about what comes next is definitely a bonus.

Brooks explained:

"When it comes to the future, I think what you’re just grateful for is just one more day, right? Of getting to do this."
"So, I think that’s it. What I’d love to say is, the day I take my last breath on this planet, I’d love for my three girls to be around me and I’d love for the queen to be around me."

Clarkson then redirected the conversation to Brooks and his wife, citing the couple's "beautiful love."

Brooks responded:

“As far as Miss Yearwood … you know, I’ve said this before, I found her in the past life, I’ll find her in the next."
"She makes it (life) fun. She makes it really fun.”

Clarkson then jokingly stood from her chair to end the show, acting like there was no way to follow Brooks' performance. She appeared to tear up and said her makeup would "kill her" before calling Brooks out on tearing up, as well.

Viewers were as touched as Clarkson clearly was by Brooks' sentiment.

This interview proved love isn't dead, but also that we can be grateful for any number of things. Not everything we're grateful for has to be huge

Smaller things, like the perfect apple pie recipe, can make our practice of gratitude all the sweeter.

CVS Sparks Debate With Glitchy Solution For Customers To Unlock Theft-Protection Cases Themselves

While shopping in the United States, it's become increasingly common to see popular items locked up, either with a small, plastic attachment that will start an alarm at one of the store's exits, or large theft-protection cases that leave a wall between the customer and product.

While this might prevent recurring theft in the stores, it's also caused increasing discontent among consumers who are only trying to shop for basic hygiene necessities, like vitamins and toothpaste.
