The cereal brand is under fire from conservatives for their box that includes a link to a free digital library with 'equity, diversity and inclusion content.'

Kellogg's Froot Loops is catching heat from the anti-woke crowd for its latest move. What's the fuss about? The brand is running a promotion on Canadian boxes that links kids to a free digital library.

You'd think encouraging kids to read is a good thing, right? But here's the kicker: the digital library is all about diversity and inclusion.

The website spills the beans, saying the library was cooked up with the help of BGC Canada and Kids Can Press. They wanted families to dive into topics like kindness, acceptance, and cultural inclusivity.

Pictures of the cereal boxes ended up on an X account called @EndWokeness, with a caption that screamed:

"Fruit Loops is now encouraging kids to go online and read their free library of woke propaganda."

@LibsofTikTok, a big player with 2.6 million followers, wasn't having it either. They said:

"Fruit Loops promotes free access to a digital library on their cereal boxes for kids. The library offers a range of books to teach kids themes of 'equity, diversity, and inclusion.'"
“@KelloggsUS wants to indoctrinate your children with breakfast cereal. Stop giving them your money!"

Many of @LibsofTikTok's followers jumped on the bandwagon, bashing Kellogg's for trying to get kids to read about other people's lives.

Many of the actual “libs” of the internet are laughing at this entire charade.

This isn't the first online rodeo for Froot Loops. Back in 2019, Kellogg's dropped a limited edition box called "All Together," mixing all its cereals, including Froot Loops, to stand against bullying for Spirit Day.

Back then, Priscilla Koranteng, Kellogg's Vice President of Talent and Chief Diversity Officer, said they've been supporting LGBTQ employees and families for over 100 years.

Kellogg's is all about nourishing families so they can thrive, and they welcome everyone to the table.

In 2021, Kellogg's teamed up with GLAAD for a limited edition Froot Loops "Together with Pride" box, showing they're sticking to their guns on diversity and inclusion.

The federal government shut down last week after the White House and Congress failed to reach an agreement on federal spending. While Senate Democrats are in the minority, they hold enough seats to filibuster and are insisting that Republicans agree to extend federal subsidies for people insured under the Affordable Care Act.
