A TikToker made quite the splash, figuratively and literally, after jumping off the roof atop a water slide for extra propulsion at a French waterpark.

But the aftermath of his surviving the stunt made the internet wince from seeing the physical toll of the painful landing in the water.

The death-defying stunt took place at the Frenzy Waterpark in Torreilles.

Stunned onlookers couldn't believe the audacity of the amateur daredevil to have started from an even higher elevation than allowed for his starting position.

According to Indy 100, our fearless stunt guy is a man known by his alias, La Mascotte, and he was taking part in the park's best trick competition, sponsored by Red Bull.

Determined to take a huge leap of faith, he jumped off the slide's rooftop balcony and landed with a thud on the slide.

But his momentum was just kicking into high gear.

When he reached the bottom of the slide that curved upward at its base, he catapulted into the air and flailed his extremities wildly before belly-flopping into the water below.

It was a splashtacular sight to behold, for sure.

People were initially super impressed.

Here are other views of the stunt shared on Twitter.

However, a video of La Mascotte's body covered in major bruises had the internet concerned.

Take a look at how the jump onto the slide and the resistance force of the water pushing back from his high plunge took a toll on his body.

Instagrammers instantly felt the pain just by observing his massive grazes.

Based on his Instagram page, he has performed similar stunts in the past and has survived to take on other water slide challenges.

He really does seem to be a performer who willingly suffers for his art.

'Ferris Bueller' Clip Explaining Tariff Disaster In 1930 Goes Viral Amid Trump's Tariff War

People are nodding their heads after a clip from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off in which Ben Stein's teacher character explains the disastrous results of the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act in 1930 went viral after President Donald Trump's announced tariffs on goods imported from Canada and Mexico.

The scene features a high school economics teacher, played by Ben Stein, lecturing his uninterested students about the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act—a real-life 1930 bill signed by President Herbert Hoover that raised tariffs on imported goods. The law, often blamed for exacerbating the Great Depression, has drawn comparisons to Trump’s recent trade policies.
