During a Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, Fox News read President Trump's Truth Social post attacking "Dumocrats" live on air—and was quickly criticized.

Rupert Murdoch's Fox News is drawing backlash again over their coverage of MAGA Republican President Donald Trump's unhinged social media posts.

The latest inciting incident came on Memorial Day, which honors military members who gave their lives in service to the United States. While showing footage of the wreath-laying ceremony at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, Fox News host Griff Jenkins decided to casually read Trump's Truth Social message for the day as the screen switched to a shot of the post.

You can see the moment here:

In his second post of the morning, at 6:18am, Trump wrote:

"Happy Memorial Day to all, including the Dumocrats, who disrespect our Military and all of the tremendous success that it has had over the last year. God Bless those that have made the ultimate sacrifice. I love you all! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

Trump has bragged several times, praising his own cleverness for using the term "Dumocrats" while pointing out that he misspelled both the words "Democrats" and "dumb" to achieve his portmanteau.

President Trump's directly preceding Truth Social post was a screed attacking his many perceived enemies, posted at 6:10am, which also used his new favorite word as well as the term "RINOS" to attack members of his own party who failed to kiss the ring.

After his Memorial Day message, Trump posted another attack, or maybe just another excuse to use his new favorite word.

People found Trump as appalling—and Fox News as enabling—as usual.

Since his first term in office, Trump has drawn criticism over his inappropriate posts, speeches, and actions on Memorial Day as well as on other national holidays.

Not exactly the kind of behavior one expects from the supposed leader of a country, yet here we are.

Texas Senate nominee James Talarico had the perfect response after MAGA Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton accused him of being a secret vegan.

Talarico is not actually vegan—though there is nothing inherently wrong with veganism. Even so, Paxton has already begun attacking his likely Democratic challenger before he has officially entered the race, arguing that Talarico is unfit to represent Texans partly because of his supposed veganism.
