Former '90210' Star Reads Poem About Wishing She Was Putin's Mom—And It's A Major Cringefest

We regret to inform you that celebs are at it again.

Remember when Gal Gadot wrangled a bunch of A-list names together to sing John Lennon's "Imagine" at the beginning of the pandemic and everyone collectively was like "why?" and "stop"? Nothing could ever top that in terms of the cringe factor right?

Wrong, dear reader!

Dead wrong. Allow us to introduce you to actress AnnaLynne McCord, formerly of 90210 reboot fame, presently of slam poetry about wishing she was Russian President Vladimir Putin's mom infamy.

Yes, you read that correctly and yes, it's as awkward and weird and mortifying as it sounds—no, actually, it's worse.

See for yourself below.

So that is a thing that happened.

The poem, titled "Dear Mister President Vladimir Putin," of course comes on the heels of Putin's invasion of Russia's Western neighbor Ukraine, which has left the world reeling as it watches one of the world's most brutal dictators attempt to illegally seize a sovereign country.

If you've been wondering why exactly this is happening, it is of course very complicated--but not to McCord! The 34-year-old actress has cracked the case.

See, the problem all stems from the fact that Putin's mommy didn't love him. So now he's very, very angry and he's taking it out by invading a sovereign nation and threatening to nuke anyone who tries to stop him. But if McCord had been his mother--well, this all could have been avoided. It's all very simple, you see!

Here, let McCord explain it to you, via her poem:

“I’m so sorry that I was not your mother."
"If I was your mother, you would have been so loved, held in the arms of joyous light."
"Never would this story’s plight."
"The world unfurled before our eyes."
"A pure demise.”

Granted, not one word of that makes any sense—that's not how you use the words "plight" or "demise" so it's hard to even know what on Earth McCord is even talking about, let alone get a sense of how any of this is helping things in Ukraine. But at least she tried. 'A' for effort?

Twitter, of course, disagreed.

Suffice to say, they had some feedback on McCord's poem.

So far, Putin has yet to stand down, but Russia and Ukraine have agreed to meet tomorrow for potential peace talks. Maybe we have McCord to thank.

Philly Woman Goes Viral With Her Totally Chill Reaction To Her Car Being Completely Frozen In Ice

While the Northeast battled winter weather, the internet was captivated by a Philly-based TikToker documenting how her car turned into what she jokingly described as a Snowmaggedon popsicle.

Last week, Tianna Graham shoveled out her 2016 Honda Civic and drove out after a snowstorm, took it to work, and parked it in the same spot she’d left it before: next to a water main. By the time she returned, her vehicle was completely encased in ice on the 1000 block of North Front Street in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood.

Dad Sparks Heated Debate After 'Nice Note' He Left For Wife And Kids Before Work Trip Sets Her Off

When a person becomes a parent, much more will change in their life than they anticipated.

But that transition can be especially hard when a person feels like they're losing themselves to their role as a mom or dad—and that feeling is made even worse when their partner hyper-fixates on their new role.
