Remember good presidents?
Remember halfway decent presidents?
It's strange to think we might not know what the next four years of our futures hold (at the time of writing), but fortunately, fiction can still give us mentally stable, reliable, honorable, trustworthy, hard-working, stable, passionate, respectful, (did we mention stable?) presidents for us to enjoy.
Reddit user, u/CreativePhilosopher, wanted to know who you long for when they asked:
Who is the best fictional US President from tv/movies/books?

President James Marshall - Harrison Ford in Air Force One
IMO, the "Get off my plane" scene is the best presidential moment on the big screen, except the "we will not go quietly in the night" speech by the prez in ID4.
Take The W
George W. Bush in the 2nd Harold and Kumar film.
"Let me ask you something Kumar. You like giving handjobs?"
"No"
"Do you like getting handjobs?"
"Haha yes"
"Well doesn't that make you a bit of a hypocritisizer yourself?"
Words By Sorkin
Hands down President Bartlet from the west wing. He's an actual PhD economist who's also a charming genius with great people skills, and shows respect and humility to everyone regardless of political affiliation or how much they agree with him. he was designed to be sort of the ideal american president.
We All Know The One, True Answer
independence day president GIF by 20th Century Fox Home EntertainmentGiphyThomas J. Whitmore
