Eric Trump Dragged for Questionable Meme Trying to Prove Why Trump Really Won the Election

President Donald Trump and his allies continue to peddle the delusion that the outgoing President won the 2020 election, and that President-elect Joe Biden's victory is due to widespread voter fraud coordinated by Democrats.

The claim is wildly false, and even Trump's own loyal Attorney General, William Barr, has said there's no evidence to prompt a Special Counsel investigation into voter fraud or to justify the seizure of voting machines.

Biden's victory has only been reinforced with the casting of Electoral College votes earlier this month, the results of recounts in multiple swing states, and the Trump team's loss of over 50 court cases aimed at overturning the results.

Trump and his allies remain undeterred, with one of the President's sons—Eric Trump—tweeting a bizarre meme aimed at sowing mistrust in the election's results.

The picture shows the crowded rallies of President Trump and former President Barack Obama, with the note that Obama won 873 counties and 69 million votes in the 2008 election, while Trump won 2,497 counties and 74 million votes in the 2020 election.

Noting that Biden won 81 million votes and only 477 counties, the implication of the meme is that the math doesn't add up between the number of counties Biden won and the number of votes he received.

The meme is completely misleading and doesn't hold up to logic.

This is mainly because population varies greatly between counties and isn't representative of the vote totals. For instance, Los Angeles County alone has a greater population than the total population of 40 states. New York County has a greater population than 38 U.S. states. Meanwhile, many counties with low populations—such as Loving County, Texas which has a population of 169 people—went for Trump.

What's more, reduced in-person attendance at Biden events wasn't due to a lack of enthusiasm, as Trump and his allies like to claim. The Biden campaign limited attendance at all of its events to comply with safety guidelines put forth by Trump's own officials to reduce the spread of the virus that's killed over 300 thousand Americans.

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign continued to hold packed rallies throughout the pandemic, and at least 30 thousand cases of the virus can be traced to Trump campaign events.

People pointed out to Eric Trump that his meme was meaningless.

People soon responded with memes of their own.

President-elect Biden, along with Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, will be inaugurated on January 20th.

Gavin Newsom Shames Trump For 'Politicizing' Los Angeles Fires In Powerful Clip

After President-elect Donald Trump spread lies about the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires, blaming California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom for the destruction, Newsom addressed the matter on CNN, telling Anderson Cooper that Trump "wanted to politicize" the disaster even as people flee and lose their lives.

Deadly wildfires in Los Angeles County remain largely uncontained, with officials reporting at least five confirmed fatalities so far. However, on Thursday, authorities admitted, “frankly, we don’t know” the true extent of the death toll. Evacuation orders are currently affecting nearly 180,000 residents, as thousands of homes and buildings have been destroyed.
