While appearing on the YouTube interview show Chicken Shop Date, Elmo gave Beyoncé a shoutout and asked her to come back to Sesame Street after she previously visited with Destiny's Child back in 2002.

Elmo just proved they’re a proud member of the Beyhive, and they’re not shy about it.

During a recent episode of Chicken Shop Date, Elmo told host Amelia Dimoldenberg that their go-to karaoke pick is “anything Beyoncé.”

When asked if they’re part of the superstar’s fanbase, Elmo lit up and took the chance to invite Beyoncé to Sesame Street or even Chicken Shop Date.

“Hi, Beyoncé! Elmo loves you. Maybe you can come to 'Sesame Street' sometime. Or 'Chicken Shop Date'?”

Fans online are now hoping Beyoncé takes Elmo up on the offer. Her last Sesame Street appearance was in 2002 with Destiny’s Child, so a return is long overdue.
