Her Highness Sheikha Mahra took to Instagram to publicly announce divorce plans in a short and powerful post just one year after the couple married.

In an unexpected move, Her Highness Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai princess, addressed her husband's infidelity on Instagram, declaring their divorce.

Sheikha Mahra, who is daughter of the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, wrote a scathing and short message to her husband.

“Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.”

Following the announcement, fans noticed that the royal couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram and removed all photos of each other from their profiles.

Some followers mentioned that they had "blocked" each other, while others speculated that Sheikha Mahra’s account might have been hacked. Despite the rumors, the post quickly garnered tens of thousands of likes.

This shocking news comes just over a year after Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum tied the knot. The couple announced their engagement on March 22, 2023, and exchanged vows in a traditional Islamic marriage ceremony on May 28, 2023, followed by a lavish wedding reception in June.

They welcomed their first child, a baby girl also named named Mahra, in May 2024.

The Craziest Reasons Students Ever Got Suspended From School

Unruly students can drive a teacher insane, and there's only so much discipline they can dole out before they lose their cool in front of the rest of the class. Younger students can suffer sitting in the corner for a time-out for being disruptive and write standards like, "I will not talk during class," one hundred times before the day's through.

But sometimes, more serious disciplines can really drive a lesson home, where parents look down on their kids with shame.

Lara Trump's Gripe About Dems Trying To 'Thwart' Trump's Transition Is Hypocrisy At Its Finest

Lara Trump—the daughter-in-law of President-elect Donald Trump and former Republican National Committee (RNC) co-chair—was criticized for hypocrisy after she baselessly accused Democrats of "lying" about wanting a "smooth and peaceful transition" in a rant on Fox News.

Earlier in the day, Vice President Kamala Harris presided over the certification of President-elect Donald Trump's election win, smiling widely when the vote total reached the threshold declaring Trump the next president and when she received a standing ovation from her party as her vote total was announced.
