Drew Barrymore Breaks Down During Emotional Reunion With Ex Justin Long: 'I Will Always Love You'
CBS

Fans on social media got hit right in the heartstrings after a reunion between Drew Barrymore and her ex-partner Justin Long on Barrymore's talk show that quickly turned emotional.

The pair, who dated between 2007 and 2010, reunited for the new season of The Drew Barrymore Show.

Barrymore released clips of her sit-down with Long to promote the season, and things quickly got emotional as Barrymore became tearful talking about their past, telling Long, "I will always love you."

Barrymore talked candidly about her and Long's relationship, which began when they met on the set of the 2009 romantic comedy film He's Just Not That Into You.

Barrymore got tearful as she spoke about the friendship the pair have maintained since their break-up.

"I feel like we’ve been through so much together too."
"When we used to talk and FaceTime I was always like, ‘You know, I’ve really grown up Justin.’"
"I always wanted to prove to you what a different person I was than when we dated."

She then described their relationship as "hella fun" but "immature."

"We had so much fun but we were more hedonistic. A little more immature."
"We would get together, we would break up. It was chaos, it was hella-fun."

Long agreed with Barrymore's assessment, underlining how much fun they had together even if it ultimately didn't work out.

"Fun chaos — well yeah, most hedonism is fun."

The two split in 2010 and have since gone on to other relationships. Long has been dating actor Kate Bosworth, while Barrymore is once again single after splitting from husband Will Kopelman in 2016, with whom she has two children.

Barrymore spoke about the reunion with the hosts of CBS Mornings, telling them that the idea came from a desire to explore her own journey as a person in the new season of her talk show.

On Twitter, people were nearly as moved by the reunion as Barrymore was.

Trump Ripped After Forcing National Parks To Drop Free Entry On MLK Day And Juneteenth For Infuriating Reason

President Donald Trump was criticized after the National Park Service announced it will be dropping Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth for next year's calendar of free-entry days and adding Trump's birthday, which happens to fall on Flag Day, on June 14.

Last month, the Department of the Interior unveiled changes to what it now calls its “resident-only patriotic fee-free days,” expanding the calendar to include new dates like the Fourth of July weekend and President Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday, while dropping others that had honored the department itself, including the Bureau of Land Management’s anniversary.

Dem Rep. Has An Idea For A New Line Of Work For MTG After She Leaves Congress—And It Would Certainly Be Something

California Democratic Representative Robert Garcia was elected in November 2022 and even before being sworn in, he was locking horns with one-time MAGA darling and Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene.

For years, MTG was best known as the QAnon conspiracy theory-spewing, State of the Union heckling, crossfit hyping, Trump ride-or-dying, anti-LGBTQ+ racist MAGA minion from Georgia.
