If you've seen an actor on the big screen before, chances are they're in SAG-AFTRA—one of the largest entertainment unions on Earth.

One of its most well-known figures is former President Donald Trump, who's had cameos in various cinematic masterpieces from The Little Rascals to Ghosts Can't Do It.

With his Twitter account banned and the White House behind him, Trump was left with little to do than issue a blistering statement against the union on Thursday.

After Trump's lies about the validity of the 2020 election incited a mob of pro-Trump extremists to storm the Capitol in a deadly insurrection earlier this month, SAG-AFTRA formed a panel to examine whether Trump's actions warranted booting him from the union.

Before he was banned from yet another entity, Trump did something his critics begged to do for four years: resign.

With punctuation mistakes, berating nicknames, insults, and random capitalization, the letter was reminiscent of one of the former President's infamous tweets.

He wrote in part:

"I've also greatly helped the cable news television business (said to be a dying platform with not much time left until I got involved in politics), and created thousands of jobs at networks such as MSDNC and Fake News CNN, among many others."

He continued:

"Which brings me to your blatant attempt at free media attention to distract from your dismal record as a union Your organization has done little for its members, and nothing for me - besides collecting dues and promoting dangerous un-American policies and ideas - as evident by your massive unemployment rates and lawsuits from celebrated actors, who even recorded a video asking, 'Why isn't the union fighting for me?'"

The rambling rant concluded with:

"As such, this letter is to inform you of my immediate resignation from SAG-AFTRA. You have done nothing for me."

While Trump's diatribe took up a whole page, SAG-AFTRA's acceptance of his resignation only took two words.

The short but sweet response generated mockery for Trump.

But the union's wasn't the only response Trump's rant generated.

Don't hold your breath for any more Trump cameos in union films.

AOC Has Democrats Applauding With Her Viral Reaction To Zohran Mamdani's Historic Win

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had people nodding their heads after she opened up about why democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani's win in the New York City mayoral election on Tuesday is so important for the country at large as well as for the future of the Democratic Party.

Mamdani successfully took on the establishment to become the first South Asian, first Muslim, and first millennial mayor-elect, running a campaign that focused predominantly on the city's affordability crisis and that successfully batted away racist and Islamophobic backlash from right-wingers who claimed his policies would "destroy" the city.

People Who Quit Their Jobs On Day One Reveal What Made Them Say 'Nope, Not Doing This'

Every now and then, simply because we need money, we might take a job that doesn't fulfill us in any way, but at least keeps our bank accounts happy.

Some jobs, however, are so soul-sucking that even with no other prospects immediately on the horizon, we can't, in good conscience, keep working them.
