The following article contains spoilers for Avengers: Endgame.

The wildly popular Avengers franchise got a political spin on Tuesday in a video from President Donald Trump's reelection campaign featuring disintegrating Democrats and Trump as the super villain Thanos.

The video shows Trump as Thanos claiming "I am inevitable" before snapping his fingers, causing Democratic House leadership to dissolve while announcing articles of impeachment against him.

Watch below.

The video is supposed to echo the GOP talking point that Democrats have sealed Trump's victory in 2020 by bringing forth articles of impeachment against Donald Trump.

However, portraying Trump as Thanos—an intergalactic menace who wipes out half the living beings in the universe before his ultimate defeat—may not have been the best metaphor.

Then again, it may have been accidental perfection.

People couldn't stop pointing out that the moment depicted in the video is right before Thanos is humiliated and defeated.

This isn't the first time Trump and his team have tried and failed to use pop culture to their advantage. Trump himself tweeted a poster of himself a la HBO's Game of Thrones last year, before bringing it to a cabinet meeting. HBO later rebuked him for it.

Marvel has yet to respond to the Trump campaign's video.

American YouTuber Arrested After Sneaking Onto Remote Island And Leaving Diet Coke For Uncontacted Tribe

24-year-old YouTuber Mykhailo Viktorovych Polyakov was arrested after making contact with one of the world's last uncontacted tribes, making the perilous and ill-advised journey to North Sentinel Island and leaving a coconut and a can of Diet Coke on the beach as a gift to the Sentinelese.

Polyakov, 24, arrived at the northeastern shore of North Sentinel Island at 10 a.m. on March 29, according to police reports. He used binoculars to survey the land but saw no one. He then climbed ashore, leaving behind a Diet Coke and a coconut, took sand samples, and recorded a video, the authorities said.
