Don Jr. Roasted For Getting The Geography Totally Wrong On His 'World' Electoral Prediction Map

Early in the morning on Election Day, like many other Americans, Donald Trump Jr. created and tweeted out his own projected electoral map for his father's re-election campaign.

Except Don Jr.'s map was of the entire world, not just the United States. The joking implication was clear—the entire world loves Donald Trump—or most of it that is, because Jr. did give Joe Biden a few victories.

But the joke landed like a lead balloon, mainly because it was completely bonkers and made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

It's hard to know where to begin here.

About the only thing that makes a lick of sense about this map is California and New York going to Biden. The rest is just... absolutely off the rails.

For example, why does Jr. think Biden would win India? Narendra Modi, India's Prime Minister, is a far-right, populist, religious extremist ideologue who admires Trump—and is very popular in his country.

Why on Earth would they vote for Joe Biden? Perhaps Jr. confused India for the country he and his family constantly say is Biden's best friend, Iran.

Now to be fair, Jr. did make a few pro-Biden picks that make sense. He awarded Mexico to Biden, which seems reasonable, as well as China, which also tracks—China and the U.S. are not exactly allies, and there's not much love lost between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

But the rest of what went to Biden is just... weird. Why is the African nation of Liberia supposedly Biden country, but literally everywhere else on the continent of Africa is pro-Trump?

And what about Sri Lanka? Does Jr. know something about these countries that all of the rest of us don't?

And that's all before we get to the real kicker of Jr's very creative electoral map. Apparently the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea, and Antarctica are all big fans of Donald Trump.

None of them have a population, on account of being, you know, bodies of water in the case of the former two, and an inhospitably frigid ice world that isn't a country and has no permanent population that votes on anything, in the case of the latter. Though perhaps penguins and polar bears are right-wing populists, who knows?

On Twitter, the roasting of Donald Trump Jr. came in swift and hot.

Let's just give him points for creativity and leave it at that.

Democratic Rep. Says What We're All Thinking About Trump's 'Beyond Insane' Cabinet Picks

Democratic Massachusetts Representative Jim McGovern gave his blunt assessment of President-elect Donald Trump's bizarre Cabinet picks thus far, calling them "beyond insane."

With Trump recently having picked Matt Gaetz (who faces sex trafficking accusations) for attorney general, Tulsi Gabbard (who has ignited concerns due to her ties to Russia) for director of national intelligence, and Pete Hegseth (a Fox News host accused of sexual assault) for secretary of defense, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (an antivaxxer and conspiracy theorist) for secretary of health and human services, Senate Republicans are very much divided on confirming them.

MTG Melts Down In Bonkers Rant Demanding Senate Republicans 'Say Yes Sir' To Trump's Cabinet Picks

As President-elect Donald Trump's Cabinet picks face increasing opposition from Senate Republicans, Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is not handling it all that well, demanding her colleagues "say yes sir" to Trump's every whim.

With Trump recently having picked Matt Gaetz (who faces sex trafficking accusations) for attorney general, Tulsi Gabbard (who has ignited concerns due to her ties to Russia) for director of national intelligence, and Pete Hegseth (a Fox News host accused of sexual assault) for secretary of defense—to say nothing of others who've made headlines for similarly disturbing reasons—Senate Republicans are very much divided.
