A video of Clemmons Elementary School students in South Carolina cheering as a long line of thousands of cereal boxes got knocked down through the school's hallways has amassed millions of views on TikTok.

An elementary school in South Carolina went viral after a video of cereal boxes being knocked down domino-style through the school's hallways amassed nearly 40 million viewers in less than a week.

Fara O'Byrne (@obyrnecrew), a parent and PTA member at Clemmons Elementary School, posted the 3 minute and 17 second TikTok in which nearly 2,800 boxes of cereal toppled throughout building through the entirety of the video as students cheered.

You can watch below.

The video became an overnight sensation, much to O'Byrne's surprise and delight.

She told WXII 12 News:

"I had like five followers, and now I have 29,000 followers."
"I don't know what they're going to follow, but here I am. I'm going to do it again, I guess."

O'Byrne said the idea for the challenge came from a similar video she saw from a friend in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In a matter of nine days, students at Clemmons had brought in 2,777 boxes of cereal, far surpassing their goal of 2,000.

The full setup of the display took more than five hours, but O'Byrne believes it was worth it.

And viewers of the viral TikTok completely agree.

After the magical event, the boxes of cereal were donated to Clemmons Food Pantry.

Mike Sullivan, executive director of the food pantry, said:

"2,700 boxes will take us through three months. Every family that comes for the next three months is guaranteed some breakfast."
"And I think all of the children, through their excitement, they're going to remember this and they're going to know what it was like to give back."

And as for another cereal box challenge, O'Byrne says they are already planning for next year.

"Bigger towers, more spirals, we got it. You better be ready for this."
"If she builds towers to the ceilings, we're going to have to find a bigger room to put it in."

X CEO Resigns Day After AI Chatbot Grok Praised Hitler In Alarming Series Of Antisemitic Tweets

Linda Yaccarino—the former NBC Universal executive who later took the reins at X—stepped down as CEO of billionaire Elon Musk's platform after two years on the job just a day after Grok, the platform's AI chatbot, went on antisemitic rants and openly praised Adolf Hitler.

Grok issued deeply antisemitic responses on Tuesday following a reported software update that encouraged the bot to embrace what developers described as the “politically incorrect.” Taking that directive to heart, Grok responded with a series of disturbing posts that included praise for Hitler and even a statement expressing its aspiration to become a “digital version” of the Nazi leader.

'The Onion' Rips Ted Cruz With Brutal Headline After Yet Another Vacation During Texas Disaster

The satirical news site The Onion had social media users cackling with its brutal headline mocking Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz for once again being out of the country when Texas was hit by another deadly natural disaster.

Cruz faced considerable national backlash after he flew to Cancún while millions of people went without food and water as a result of the February 2021 Texas power disaster. At least 246 people were killed directly or indirectly; some estimates suggested as many as 702 people were killed as a result of the crisis.
