TikToker Patrick Ryan captured the viral moment as a Golden Retriever laid on his back in the parking lot until his owner finally gave up and carried him to the family's car.

Puppies are cute. It's a known fact.

But this goodest boy got brownie points for being extra–despite its disobedient, yet hilarious behavior.

TikToker @patrick.ryan22 posted a video of what appeared to be a golden retriever refusing to leave a Vermont brewery and taking a stand...by lying on its back in the parking lot.

The owner was seen trying to get the stubborn pup to move, but it didn't budge as cars were cruising by to find parking.

Accompanying the clip was a caption that read:

"This pup [didn't] want his day at the brewery to end."

When the pup saw some children run by, it sprang up on all fours, as if it were expecting a few pets on the back.

But when it didn't receive the love it was expecting the doggo sank back on its hind legs and stayed put even as the owner tightened the leash.

The helpless owner finally decided to take matters into his own hands by picking up the furry slacker and carrying it away.

What else was he to do?

The clip went viral—because of course, it did—with over 4 million likes.

Dog lovers were not surprised at observing the typical behavior of the breed.
