The second episode of Game of Thrones' final season aired on Sunday, April 21, and although none of our beloved characters have yet died, the episode did see the reintroduction of a character who's been long absent from our screens.

*Warning: Mild spoilers ahead*

For years now, fans have been wondering what in the world happened to Jon's beloved direwolf, Ghost!

But then... could it be?!

Yes! There he is! In the background of an establishing shot on the outer wall of Winterfell!

Though tucked away in the background, Ghost is clearly still alive and well!

Twitter rejoiced! GHOST IS BACK!

The internet loves dogs, especially giant, white ones who've spent their lives protecting our main characters.

Ghost hasn't been seen onscreen for literally years, which led many to question whether he'd ever return.

It seems the show's producers just wanted to give fans a little reassurance that Ghost was ok (although perhaps a bit expensive to render on screen for full scenes).

A few fans wished Ghost's apparent reappearance had been given a little more explanation.

With Ghost back in play, people have big plans for how the last four episodes of the series are going to play out.

With only a handful of episodes left, each longer than an hour, fans are preparing for what's likely a heartbreaking conclusion to the epic series. At least Ghost will be there to enjoy the ride along with us.

Lauren Boebert In Hot Water After She's Busted Spending Campaign Funds On Kid Rock Concert Tickets

Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert is facing criticism after Federal Election Commission (FEC) records showed she spent over $3,300 of her campaign funds on concert tickets and a hotel in Texas on the same weekend her once-rumored boyfriend—MAGA singer Kid Rock—was performing.

Boebert’s campaign reported expenses for a hotel stay in Arlington, Texas, and for event tickets purchased in May. On May 16, Boebert attended the Rock N Rodeo — part of the Professional Bull Riding Championship World Finals at AT&T Stadium — an event hosted by Kid Rock. She even shared a photo of herself with the singer on social media.

Ron Perlman Leaves Fans Stunned With Story About Peeing On His Hand Before Shaking Harvey Weinstein's

During an especially unsanitary round of storytime on Inside of You with Smallville’s Michael Rosenbaum, Ron Perlman resurrected one of Hollywood’s most infamous bits of petty rebellion: the “pee-pee handshake” he claims he once served to convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein.

Back in the political chaos of 2018, the Sons of Anarchy star revealed that he deliberately peed on his hand before greeting Weinstein at a charity event.
