After an intense photo of DeSantis laughing at an Iowa event went viral, an even more unhinged clip of his laugh emerged—and it's a lot.

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis once again found himself at the center of Twitter mockery as users poked fun at his peculiar laugh.

The governor's struggle to project a relatable and personable image has been a recurring theme, with his latest bout of laughter capturing attention.

During a recent visit to Iowa to gauge interest in a potential presidential run, DeSantis was photographed sharing an oddly hearty laugh in response to a comment made by an Iowa voter.

You can see the photo below.

The image quickly went viral, drawing a fair share of sarcastic remarks and humor on social media platforms.

DeSantis's laughter once again became a target of amusement on Twitter when a video of the encounter surfaced online. The clip served as fresh material for users to mock the governor's awkward personal style.

You can hear the laugh for yourself in the video below.

To say people were weirded out by it is an understatement.

The photograph and accompanying video gained significant traction as it seemed to validate a string of news reports suggesting that DeSantis is facing challenges in connecting with voters on a human level.

According to the New York Times, the governor had to be reminded to maintain eye contact and shake hands during his visit to Iowa, further fueling the perception of a disconnect with everyday people.

DeSantis also weirded out social media users in March after sources close to him told The Daily Beast he ate "a chocolate pudding dessert" with three fingers instead of a spoon.

Republican operatives have expressed concerns about DeSantis' apparent lack of social skills and according to one staffer, DeSantis tends to devour food during meetings and does so "always like a starving animal who has never eaten before… getting s**t everywhere.”
