Colorado Dentist Arrested After Allegedly Fatally Poisoning Wife To Start New Life With Mistress
Aurora Police Department

James Toliver Craig has been charged with first-degree murder after allegedly poisoning his wife Angela's protein shakes.

A dentist in Colorado is accused of poisoning his wife, who battled agonizing migraines and vertigo for weeks before she passed away. He is now facing a murder charge.

According to a statement from the Aurora Police Department, James Toliver Craig, 45, was detained early on Sunday and charged with first-degree murder in relation to the death of his wife Angela Craig, 43.

According to the police, Craig took his wife to the hospital on Wednesday night at around 8:45 p.m. because she was complaining of headaches and vertigo. Her condition "deteriorated dramatically" shortly after the mother of six arrived, and the intensive care unit put her on a ventilator.

Soon after, she was deemed medically brain dead and was removed from life support on Sunday, after which local police began an investigation. They discovered that she was allegedly poisoned.

"When the suspicious details of this case came to light, our team of officers and homicide detectives tirelessly worked to uncover the truth behind the victim's sudden illness and death...It was quickly discovered this was in fact a heinous, complex and calculated murder."
"I am very proud of our Major Crimes Homicide Unit's hard work in solving this case and pursuing justice for the victim."

People had a lot of responses to this horrible act.

Some talked about how this seems to be a problem with men.

Other people wanted to know why couples can't just get divorced.

Several people wondered what motive could possibly lead to poisoning instead of divorce.

Some people focused in on the man's non-professional life: his role in the Church of Latter-Day Saints, AKA Mormons.

Someone pointed out the difference between men and women in this context.

Ominously, someone said that this isn't the first time such a poisoning has occurred.

The case is still ongoing, but it's not looking great for Craig.

Dem Rep. Offers Brutally Accurate Reason For Why He Can't Understand 'The Mind Of Donald Trump'

Massachusetts Democratic Representative Seth Moulton made a fitting observation about President Donald Trump's mind after Trump gave a 20-minute address to the nation about his war in Iran on Wednesday evening.

Trump claimed “core strategic objectives are nearing completion” in the Iran war and vowed to strike Iran "extremely hard" over the next two to three weeks. He said that he would finish the job "very fast," without setting any timeline for ending the war. He pledged to "bring them [Iranians] back to the Stone Ages, where they belong.”

Racist Guy Caught On Video Tearing Through Iraqi Soccer Fans' Banner At Dallas Airport: 'Don't Come To America'

With the United States set to host the 2026 World Cup, a video out of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is drawing attention for a very different reason: showing a man ripping apart an Iraqi soccer fan’s banner and telling them, “Don’t come to America.”
