Hollywood living legend Robert De Niro was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week and didn't mince words as he shared his thoughts on former Republican President Donald Trump.
The topic of the disgraced GOP presidential frontrunner came up when Kimmel mentioned how he and the Killers of the Flower Moon actor have "been immortalized on social media" by Trump.
Kimmel pulled up screenshots of Trump's disparaging comments aimed at De Niro posted on Twitter (now X) before he was ultimately banned from the platform.
In a tweet dated June 12, 2018, Trump referred to the two-time Oscar winner as a "very low IQ individual" who's had "so many shots to the head by real boxers in a movie."
The host moved on to another screenshot of Trump's post on his Truth Social platform last December, which read in part:
"Robert De Niro, whose acting talents have greatly diminished, with his reputation now shot, must even use a teleprompter for his foul and disgusting language, so disrespectful to our Country.”
Kimmel allowed the actor to respond to Trump's rant by asking:
“In all fairness to the formal President, is that true?”
“Do you have to use a teleprompter when speaking about President Trump, or are you able to just kinda riff on your thoughts on him?”
De Niro paused and smirked before expressing what he really thought about Trump:
“He’s so f'king stupid.”
The studio audience roared with laughter and applause at De Niro's straightforward reply.

De Niro wasn't finished.
The actor, who was bestowed the Presidential Medal of Freedom by former Democratic President Barack Obama in 2016, continued saying of Trump:
“I mean, look at the lame, inane things that he says."
"He’s so stupid he can’t even say anything clever. He’s a f'king moron.”
“But he’s a scary one,” said De Niro switching gears, adding:
“And in all seriousness, and we know it here, people have to get out and vote and vote and vote and vote.”
People agreed.
Fans continued praising De Niro for his fearless outspokenness and encouraging Americans to raise their voice.
Kimmel has recently been the target of Trump's hostility.
At Sunday's 96th Academy Awards ceremony for which Kimmel served as host, Kimmel had time to spare before the Best Picture Oscar was presented to Oppenheimer.
So he took advantage of the opportunity to diss the twice-impeached, first-ever federally charged ex-President.
Kimmel read aloud a scathing review of him as the Oscars host without naming Trump.
The review read:
“Has there EVER been a WORSE HOST than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars?"
"His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be. Get rid of Kimmel and perhaps replace him with another washed up, but cheap, ABC talent, George Slopanopoulos.”
“He would make everybody on stage look bigger, stronger, and more glamorous."
“Blah, blah, blah,” Kimmel went on, mumbling, “Make America Great Again.”
He facetiously asked:
"See if you can guess which former President just posted that on Truth Social."
The gracious host then quipped:
“Thank you, President Trump. Thank you for watching."
"I’m surprised you’re still— isn’t it past your jail time?”
Zing!
