WATCH: David Bowie Documentary Trailer 'The Last Five Years'

HBO released the trailer for the documentary, David Bowie: The Last Five Years, which will air on the premium channel in January, in time for what would be the late music icon's 71st birthday. The BBC previously air the documentary last year, same time. The documentary is an intimate look at the musician's last years, as an artist at his peak.

More like five years of crying.

David Bowie's legacy and remarkable burst of creativity at the end of his life does not leave a dry eye in the house.

People who have seen the trailer, or have already seen the documentary overseas, are heartfelt by it. They call the film "one of the most beautiful and poignant documentaries" they have ever seen.

The documentary is both sad and beautiful.

Some people who haven't seen it are willing to get HBO -- just to watch!

We are talking Game of Thrones levels of devotion.

The trailer leaves them excited for more.

David Bowie is "one of the greatest artists of all time."

Many people are not emotionally prepared to look behind the curtain at his last days.

We are not prepared to say goodbye.

"Still devastated with this beautiful man's entry to heaven. He had so much more to give."

We miss him.

Some people do not even know that this documentary is originally a BBC production. We love his music so much that we forget that he came from over the pond.

He first made his name in music in England.

The Last Five Years will focus on Bowie's final two albums, The Next Day and Blackstar, and his stage musical Lazarus. The film premieres January 8th on HBO.

The clip teases an array of archival footage, photographs and interview clips. In one, Bowie lays out a tenet of his artistic philosophy:

"Always go a little further into the water than you feel you're capable of being in. And when you don't feel that your feet are quite touching the bottom, you're just about at the right place to do something exciting."

Philly Woman Goes Viral With Her Totally Chill Reaction To Her Car Being Completely Frozen In Ice

While the Northeast battled winter weather, the internet was captivated by a Philly-based TikToker documenting how her car turned into what she jokingly described as a Snowmaggedon popsicle.

Last week, Tianna Graham shoveled out her 2016 Honda Civic and drove out after a snowstorm, took it to work, and parked it in the same spot she’d left it before: next to a water main. By the time she returned, her vehicle was completely encased in ice on the 1000 block of North Front Street in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood.
