Former Republican President Donald Trump lashed out at his former aide Kellyanne Conway after she revealed in a new book she personally told him he lost the 2020 presidential election to former Democratic Vice President Joe Biden.

Conway, who served as Trump's campaign manager in 2016 and was later appointed Counselor to the President, writes in her new memoir Here's the Deal she “may have been the first person Donald Trump trusted in his inner circle who told him that he had come up short this time.”

Her admission angered Trump, who quickly denied she'd ever told him he'd lost the election he continues to allege was stolen despite all evidence to the contrary.

In a post to his social media network Truth Social, Trump said Conway "never told me that she thought we lost the election" and said if she had, "I wouldn’t have dealt with her any longer—she would have been wrong—could go back to her crazy husband," referring to conservative Republican attorney George Conway, with whom Trump has often publicly feuded.

Trump went on to suggest "Writing books can make people say some very strange things," though he did not provide any specific evidence to counter Conway's claim.

News of the friction between the two exposed them both to significant criticism on social media.

Conway’s credibility has repeatedly come under fire because of her penchant for openly lying on behalf of Trump.

Trump appointed Conway as Counselor to the President shortly after winning the 2016 general election, referring to her in a statement as “a trusted adviser and strategist who played a crucial role in my victory.”

Not long after Trump took office, Conway gained notoriety for claiming White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer “gave alternative facts” while lying about the attendance numbers at Trump’s inauguration, a claim that shocked even Meet the Press host Chuck Todd, who replied “Alternative facts are not facts. They’re falsehoods.”

Speaking to anchor Jake Tapper on CNN last April, Ohio Republican Mike Turner said that Russian propaganda had "infected" the GOP in a clip that has resurfaced after President-elect Donald Trump had him ousted as House Intelligence Committee chair.

At the time, Turner made it clear that his fellow Republicans were parroting Russian propaganda about the war in Ukraine and its relationship with NATO members. That claim came after House Foreign Affairs Committee chair Michael McCaul, who said he thinks "Russian propaganda has made its way into the United States, unfortunately, and it’s infected a good chunk of my party’s base."

YouTube Star MrBeast Sparks Debate After Saying He Has An 'Offer Ready' To Buy TikTok

Popular YouTuber MrBeast claimed he has an "offer ready" to buy TikTok ahead of the potential U.S. ban of the popular app depending on the Supreme Court's decision on whether or not to uphold the bipartisan law signed by Democratic President Joe Biden.

Calls to shut down the popular short-form video app in the U.S. increased amid national security concerns that a foreign party could allegedly control the platform and compromise the data of the 170 million users who rely on the app to promote businesses and maintain influencer relevance to generate income.
