The model was captured on video dancing to the song that ex-husband Billy Joel claims he wrote about her and other models in Manhattan back when they were first dating.

In an adorable and now-viral TikTok, Christie Brinkley was captured smiling and dancing along to ex-husband Billy Joel's performance of his 1983 hit "Uptown Girl" during his concert at Madison Square Garden last week.

TikToker @gnarcar_ captioned the video:

"40 years later and your ex man is still grinning at you like that while he sings the song he wrote about how rich and hot you are?"

The text on the video read:

"Billy Joel wrote 'Uptown Girl' about his then-partner Christie Brinkley."
"Tonight she watched him sing the song he wrote about her to all of Madison Square Garden."

Though he was dating supermodel Elle MacPherson when he began writing "Uptown Girl," the Grammy winner's 2014 biography Billy Joel: The Definitive Biography claims the song was originally written about all of the models in Manhattan.

When he started dating Brinkley, however, he changed the title from "Uptown Girls" to "Uptown Girl," singular. And, of course, Brinkley was featured in the music video.

So, needless to say, viewers of the TikTok were absolutely delighted to see Brinkley enjoying Joel's tribute to her.

After the show, Brinkley shared a video on Instagram thanking Joel for the concert, writing:

Thanks for singing us a song @billyjoel and @alexarayjoel You’ve got us feeling alright!
Here’s a few snippets from a magical evening at the garden! ( sometimes with my thumb over the speaker my apologies) @sailorbrinkleycook I must add we were pretty good back up singers right? 😜

Brinkley and Joel wed in March of 1985 and welcomed their daughter Alexa Ray in December of that year.

The two divorced in 1994, but clearly she's still his uptown girl.
