Herschel Walker's Son Says 'Don't Call Me Gay' In Bizarre 'Pride Month' Tweet–And People Can't

Herschel Walker's Son Says 'Don't Call Me Gay' In Bizarre 'Pride Month' Tweet–And People Can't

Christian Walker—the son of former NFL star and Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker infamous for being simultaneously openly homosexual and homophobic—is back with another unhinged rant, just in time for Pride Month.

In a series of social media posts, Walker took the launch of Pride Month as an opportunity to remind everyone while he is definitely homosexual, he is not gay.

And for some extra self-loathing, internalized homophobia-laced panache, he made sure while he was at it to parrot the Republican talking point du jour and insinuate "the rainbow cult" is grooming children.

See his tweet on the matter below.

Walker tweeted:

"Pride month is starting so I’d like to announce to everyone that I’m NOT gay."
"I’m attracted to men but I refuse to identify with the rainbow cult."
"I don’t believe in indoctrinating children."
"My whole identity isn’t my sexuality."
"And I don’t go to gay bars."
"Don’t call me gay."

Pretty sure after a rant like that, the gay community doesn't want you anyway.

Walker has frequently insisted he is not gay, but rather simply a man who likes men—and a conservative, Evangelical Christian one at that.

For instance, when liberal political commentator and influencer Hasan Piker used the word "gay" to refer to Walker during a debate between the two on the podcast "Previously Live," Walker angrily demanded Piker not use the word, which he called "ghetto."

"Don’t call—Don’t put that ghetto g-word on me. I just like masculine men..."
"I don’t wanna be lumped in with the rainbow people."
"I’m not a gay conservative. I’m a conservative who likes men."

Walker's Instagram version of his Pride Month rant was even more unhinged than his tweet.

Standing in front of LGBTQ+ Pride flags, Walker ranted about queer people taking a month to "run around in the streets with no clothes on" before making a claim that was dubious at best.

"You have all your rights, now shut up!"

The 238 anti-LGBTQ+ bills introduced so far in 2022 alone and a Supreme Court poised to repeal the underpinnings of LGBTQ+ rights beg to differ.

As you might guess, most people on Twitter didn't take too kindly to Walker's perspective.

Many accused Walker of being deluded by internalized homophobia.

Walker has become internet-infamous for his virulently homophobic and transphobic rants and his vocal support of former Republican President Donald Trump.
