John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's married life is one that consumers love to love, and love to stay up-to-date on.

And of course, being a week before the holidays, there has to be some kind of update from the couple, namely their "extra vs. go-with-the-flow" couple dynamic.

Anyone who has been following the couple for any amount of time knows that Chrissy Teigen is the extra one, planning extravagant events and going above and beyond for the people she loves. John Legend, on the other hand, is a very go-with-the-flow, plan-things-at-the-last-minute sort of guy.

And the couple was very true to their own colors this week when Legend planned an impromptu get-together for The Voice finale guests, at their house, without Teigen actually knowing.

According to Teigen, she had some vague knowledge that they were going to have visitors on the night of the get-together. What she didn't know, and this is where it gets hairy, is that the get-together was happening because of The Voice finale, and all of the major players from the show were invited.

In true Teigen fashion, Twitter was given an absolute play-by-play of the day's events, from the lows of being stressed and angry, and all the way up to the night's eventual success.

The stress began when Teigen admitted to not knowing that The Voice was having its finale that night. Teigen has a running history of not keeping track of what her husband is up to, and the finale was certainly no different.

Teigen followed up shortly after to admit that this might have seemed like an overreaction on her part, but that this was a highly recurring thing in her household.

Some fans cracked some jokes about what the star host could do in this moment of crisis.

But Teigen was quick to remind them of how up-scale she felt this should be.

She even went so far as to go public with her text messages with her husband, from all the hustle-and-bustle of trying to get an event together.

Probably screaming, Teigen added:

Teigen's fans were quick with words of encouragement all throughout the planning of the event, which hopefully gave her some pause.

And by the end of the night, the gathering was a huge success, which even Teigen had to admit.

Even Legend shared Teigen's post, complimenting the joys of the evening.

Though the day may have been high-stress, Teigen was able to pull it off and create a fun event for all.

Let us all take this as a reminder, particularly during the holiday season, that it isn't necessarily the decorations and the cake that matter, but the company we have.

Chrissy Teigen's first cookbook Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat is available here.

White House Slammed After Replacing Obama Portrait With Painting Of Trump's Assassination Attempt

The White House is facing heavy criticism after it posted a video on X showing off a new painting of President Donald Trump's assassination attempt last summer—that is now hanging where an official portrait of former President Barack Obama was once displayed.

The portrait of Obama, unveiled in 2022 during former President Joe Biden’s administration, remains on display in the White House but has been relocated. Originally hung near the staircase to the presidential residence on the State Floor, it has been moved to the opposite wall—where a portrait of former President George W. Bush once hung.
