Was Chris Evans physically at the Disneyland resort in California, or was his image Photoshopped into the Happiest Place on Earth?

That was the debate online after Pixar Studios posted promotional photos of Evans posing with Disney pals on Twitter.

The Marvel actor has joined another family under the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures umbrella by lending his voice to the titular hero in Pixar's upcoming Lightyear.

The animated sci-fi adventure is a spin-off of the Toy Story franchise that serves as an origin story for the fictional Buzz Lightyear character–previously voiced by Home Improvement's Tim Allen.

The post's caption read:

“Chris Evans (@ChrisEvans), voice of #Lightyear, made a special appearance yesterday at Disney California Adventure Park!"
"Check out photos from yesterday and see #Lightyear in theaters on June 17! @Disneyland."

The two photos were of Evans standing in the same pose–with both hands in his pockets–with various Disney and Pixar characters at the Pixar Pier section inside Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California.

Incredulous fans, however, were convinced Evans was Photoshopped.

Others believed the subject in the photos was a cardboard cutout of the actor propped up at the Disney park.

It didn't long for crafty fans to post their own Photoshopped contributions.

The same day Pixar posted the tweet, Evans responded to all the hubbub by assuring fans he actually was at Disney California Adventure.

"I promise I’m not photoshopped into these!" he exclaimed, adding, "I just have a very disciplined pose. (And I don’t know what to do with my hands)"

He wasn't kidding about his posing limitation.

It's not surprising Evans is the perfect casting choice as Lightyear, given his penchant for standing heroically like an action figure.

Shenanigans aside, people had a sudden desire to go to California Adventure.

Lightyear is scheduled for U.S. release on June 17, 2022, in RealD 3D, 4DX, Dolby Cinema, and IMAX formats.

And if the trailer is any indication, the epic film will take us to infinity and beyond.

Community Rallies After GOP Cuts Funding For Pizza Parties They Think Are Turning Kids Trans

After the Ellensburg City Council in Washington voted to cut funding for weekly pizza parties for a school LGBTQ+ program over fears it was encouraging kids to become gay and trans—calling it “a target on minors"—the community quickly stepped up to donate more than enough funds.

Launched in 2023, the program was highlighted in the Ellensburg Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Commission’s year-end report and proposed 2025 budget, which advocated for its continuation. The Pizza Klatch attracted an average of 27 students weekly throughout 2024, offering a safe and supportive classroom environment for LGBTQ+ students and their allies, according to supporters.

Tarlov—perhaps the most prominent Democrat on the network—once again went against the grain, discrediting claims many of her co-hosts have made about the effectiveness of Biden's economic policies.
