Charlie Puth paid a lovely tribute to the late Matthew Perry during his concert in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday.
Puth honored the actor by leading fans in singing "I'll Be There for You," known by most of the world as the Friends theme song, just a day after Perry died at the age of 54.
He began the performance by addressing the audience:
âI want to dedicate this song to another song and if it makes you think of a person, thatâs who itâs dedicated to.â
Puth played the intro on his piano and asked:
âDoes this mean anything to you?â
He continued with a beautiful rendition of the song as the audience sang along before transitioning into his own hit, "See You Again."

Fans in attendance and online were brought to tears by the heartfelt performance.
Perry was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home on Saturday, his death confirmed by Capt. Scot Williams of the Los Angeles Police Departmentâs robbery-homicide division.
The cause of death is pending further investigation, which may take several weeks.
