Woman Posts Nazi Salute Photo—And The Internet Makes Her Instantly Regret It

X influencer Carly Minnick

A TikToker and X user shared how her boss called her in for an "emergency meeting" after other users called out a photo of her doing a Nazi salute—and she was promptly fired.

Republicans' new stunt seems to be gleefully giving Nazi salutes and then pretending they were just "waving," in the case of Steve Bannon, or "giving his heart to the audience," in the case of Elon Musk.

Trumpers, of course, have readily fallen for this, because at this point they'd agree that the sky is green if a MAGA figure told them it was.

The rest of us, however, are not so easily duped, and it has become commonplace to counter conservatives' ridiculous denials of Musk and Bannon's gestures by telling them, "okay, then post yourself doing it and tag your employer."

It hasn't seemed as though any conservative has been foolish enough to actually do it, though. Until now, that is!

Because Carly Minnick, an X and TikTok" influencer," and now-former preschool employee, seems to have learned the hard way that no, actually, the majority of the country is not okay with Nazi salutes.

Minnick recently posted a photo of herself on her X account throwing a "Sieg Heil," only to shortly thereafter post a tweet stating that her boss had called an "emergency" meeting with her. You can probably guess what that was about.

Minnick has since deleted the posts in question, and deleted her X account as well, then opened a new one amid the uproar. That new account has since been deleted as well. But screenshots are forever, of course.

The screenshots quickly went as viral as the original post, and soon, Minnick was posting about her boss calling an "emergency" meeting, followed by a tweet confirming she'd been fired.

It's not known for sure what job Minnick was fired from, but her LinkedIn profile, which was still live at the time, showed that she worked at a preschool.

One X user who screenshotted her LinkedIn account claimed to be the person who called her employer to inform them of Minnick's affinity for genocidal dictators.

Of course every boot-licking Trump sycophant online has come to Minnick's defense, but they seem to be dwarfed by the number of people cheering the fact that she got fired.

It doesn't appear Minnick has learned anything from this experience, however.

Her original X account is back and is now a non-stop stream of Nazi propaganda, surely to Elon Musk's endless delight. And of course she'll probably have her own show on right-wing media by next week. Very cool country we've built here.

Conspiracy Theories That Seem Believable The More You Look Into Them

Conspiracy theories have likely been around as long as human civilization has. They are, at their root, just another form of rumors and gossip.
