If there’s one thing Candace Owens is good at, it’s complaining about a whole lot of nothing. Especially when it involves a children’s cartoon character.
Recently, Disneyland Paris unveiled a new design for Minnie Mouse celebrating the park’s 30th anniversary and women’s history month. It featured the iconic mouse in a black and blue polka dot pantsuit designed by a well-known fashion designer.
To Owens, this was nothing short of the destruction of society as we know it.

The pantsuit look for Minnie was designed by famed designer Stella McCartney and is meant to celebrate women’s history month in addition to the Paris theme park.
It’s a very temporary look for the character, designed for a theme park on the other side of the world, for very specific reasons. None of that mattered to Owens, who spoke on Fox News about the change.
According to her, the change was done because of some liberal agenda.
She said:
“This is why people don’t take these people seriously. They’re taking all of these things that nobody was offended by.”
“It’s like they have to get rid of them and destroy them because they’re bored. You know, they’re absolutely bored. They’re trying to destroy fabrics of our society, pretending that there’s issues.”
Of course, she couldn’t stop there.
She had to insinuate that Minnie Mouse was being used as a smoke screen for other problems.
She continued, saying:
“So, everybody looks over here. Look at Minnie Mouse, don’t look at inflation, Jesse. Look at Minnie Mouse! The world is going forward because you’ve got her in a pantsuit.”
“Never mind that you can’t get anything at the grocery store and you can’t buy a piece of bacon unless you’ve got $30 in your pocket. At least we’re addressing the real problem, which is Minnie Mouse!”
Again, all this from a temporary change at a regional theme park for a children’s character.
I’m confused. So according to Candace Owens, who raises hell every time @iamcardib drops a music video, real women are too sexy these days but cartoon Minnie Mouse isn’t sexy enough anymore? And this is destroying the fabric of our society? Seriously?https://twitter.com/acyn/status/1486501957300674560 …— Ahmed Baba (@Ahmed Baba) 1643290631
Am I personally a fan of the look? Not really

Is it *important* to me what a cartoon mouse wears? Not really

Are people especially losing their collective sh!t over a *TEMPORARY* redesign that’s exclusive to Paris? Yes. Grifter Candace Owens and Fox News are upset that Disney updated Minnie Mouse's look, like companies do from time to time with their mascots. But neither feel outrage about the #January6thInsurrection.

To call them fvcked up is an understatement.

#DemVoice1 #BlueVoicespic.twitter.com/1mx6gymTOM— ElisaFightsBack 🌊💪 (@ElisaFightsBack 🌊💪) 1643304075

This isn’t the first time Owens has seen the end of days from a children’s cartoon character. Just last year, Owens lost her mind over the character of Gonzo on the Muppet Babies.
Or course, at that time, she had the opposite issue, as Gonzo was wearing a dress.
This is to say nothing of Owens herself, who is no stranger to wearing pants.
One might think she’s a hypocrite.

This is Candace Owens
She’s been in all the papers this week, after tellin Fox News that Minnie Mouse wearing trousers is a ‘woke’ attack on the very fabric of American society.
It’s tempting to assume that none of these right wing pundits believe a word of what they’re saying.pic.twitter.com/r2B3Y0OcPu— Gareth Dimelow (@Gareth Dimelow) 1643549997

Owens isn’t the only Fox News personality losing their minds over what a cartoon character is wearing. Tucker Carlson recently came out in support of a sexier Green M&M, after she was redesigned to be wearing tennis shoes instead of heels.
Obviously, the internet had a laugh over Carlson's outrage.
