Conservative pundit Candace Owens continues calling for the arrest of Alec Baldwin after she had previously called the fatal accidental shooting on the movie set of Rust, "poetic justice."

Last month, Baldwin accidentally discharged a prop firearm while filming a scene and killed 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

He had been informed the prop gun–which refers to any firearm used as a movie prop, whether fake or functional—was a "cold gun" and did not contain ammunition.

This time, the Republican pundit compared him to a Dallas Police Department patrol officer who was convicted for the murder of Botham Jean.

"Is there any reason in particular that @AlecBaldwln____ hasn't been arrested yet?" tweeted Owens.

"Haven't we learned that even when accidents happen with guns, the person on the other end of the gun is arrested for manslaughter?"
"Amber Guyger was arrested within 3 days."

For context, Guyger was sentenced to 10 years in prison after breaking into Botham's apartment, claiming she thought it was hers, and fatally shooting the 26-year-old accountant because she thought he was an intruder.

The incident sparked protest and accusations of racial bias since Guyger, who is White, was an off-duty officer still in uniform, breaking the law of unlawful entry when she shot Botham, who was Black, unarmed and in his own home.

A few weeks ago, Owens received backlash after she bizarrely commented on the tragic accident on the set of Rust.

She called the death of Halyna Hutchins "poetic justice," following Baldwin's longtime criticism of Donald Trump with his critically-acclaimed portrayal of the former President on Saturday Night Live.

"Alec Baldwin spent 4 years dedicated to painting Donald Trump and his supporters as evil murderers," wrote Owens in deleted social media posts.

'What has happened to Alec would be an example of poetic justice if it weren't for the actual innocent people that were murdered by him. Pray for their families. So sad."

She added:

"Will correct that last tweet to say Alec Baldwin *killed* someone- not murdered someone, as murder carries a different legal definition."
"Literally, not one single thing that Alec Baldwin has said about Donald Trump and his supporters is going to age well."

Twitter users didn't make a connection with Owens' latest tweet comparing Baldwin to Guyger.

Others identified what investigators in the ongoing case should be focusing on.

Many threw questions back at her.

In the aftermath of the tragic incident and as local authorities continue investigating the case, a source told PEOPLE Baldwin is leaning on his family.

Said the source:

"It's such an unthinkable tragedy and the grief and trauma for him are unbearable."
"Alec is still in shock and his heart is completely broken. He is doing his best to cope and is leaning on Hilaria and the kids for support."
