The 'Stranger Things' star recently told Drew Barrymore of her bucket list desire to play the pop icon—but Spears Isn't having it.

After Stranger Thing's star Millie Bobby Brown said she wanted to play Britney Spears in a movie, Spears seemed to nix the idea.

On Instagram, Spears posted:

"Dude, I'm not dead!"

The 18 year old teen star gushed on The Drew Barrymore Show about how much Spears meant to her growing up.

"I think her story, first of all, resonates with me."
"Just growing up in the public eye, watching her videos, watching interviews of her when she was younger ..."
"I don’t know her, but when I look up pictures of her I feel like I could tell her story in the right way, and hers only.”

In 2008 Spears was put in a conservatorship under her father. In 2021, the conservatorship ended after 13 years of court cases, trauma and stress.

Spears has been emancipated for almost a year and since then she has taken a much more direct approach to dealing with things on social media.

This is seen in her Instagram post where she appears to lash out at Brown.

“I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life … dude I’m not dead !!!
"Although it’s pretty f'king clear they preferred me dead.”

Spears' die hard fans took to Twitter to defend her.

While others brought up a good point about Spears' so called "clap back."

Others were excited by the idea of a Spears biopic staring Brown.

It's clear Brown meant no disrespect to Spears when she said she feels she can relate to her story and the internet is torn on if they believe Spears' reaction was warranted or not.

Although Spears didn't specifically name Brown as the focus of her anger, it is clear she isn't ready for anyone to be playing her in a biopic.

Karoline Leavitt Dragged After Making Mind-Numbing Claim About Trump's Tariffs Reversal

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is getting called out after she attempted to justify President Donald Trump's sudden reversal on his proposed tariffs, telling reporters that his actions make sense because he has a master plan to make the world bend the knee.

Trump declared a full 90-day suspension of all the “reciprocal” tariffs that took effect at midnight April 10—except for those on China—in a dramatic about-face from a president who had long championed his historically high tariff rates as permanent.
