Brendan Fraser crashed a London screening of his 1999 hit film The Mummy and was met with a standing ovation from the elated audience.
The Whale actor—fully dressed as his Mummy character Rick O'Connell—addressed the audience:
"I am proud to stand before you tonight.""This is a film that was made in Britain. You should know that!""Even the second one, too. Be proud.""Thank you for being here."Fraser also went on to explain the filming process, which underwent lots of changes, including rewriting and shooting different scenes.
"We had no idea what kind of movie we were making when we shot this.""We didn't know if it was a drama or a comedy or straight ahead action or romance or horror picture... all the above.""We had no idea until it tested in front of British audiences.""Thank you for that."The audience continued to cheer for Fraser.
