Margot Robbie addressed the backlash she received after confessing that her on-screen kiss with Babylon costar Brad Pitt was unscripted.
Of the kiss, Robbie previously told E! News:
"That wasn't in the script, but I thought, 'When else am I gonna get the chance to kiss Brad Pitt? I'm just gonna go for it.'"
Many on social media, however, criticized Robbie.
They felt her actions were inappropriate. Consent for any intimate interactions—whether in real life or when acting—was important to them.
Several pointed out if the roles were reversed, backlash would have been swift and harsh.
A man tries this and he's getting dragged by the woman for sexual harassment. Next thing , he is getting blacklisted by every movie company and brands.

If it is was other way around, the actor share a kiss without it being in the script or informing the actress before, will it not be harassment. it would have destroyed the actor in question. this is a walk on egg shells

Robbie recently responded to the criticism, telling Entertainment Tonight:
"We all established our boundaries before making this movie, because it's a movie that really pushes boundaries in a lot of ways."
She assured:
"We're all good."
Even after Robbie's clarification, some social media users still think the kiss was in poor taste.

Many, however, appreciated the clarification and agreed as long as everyone okayed the kiss prior to the scene, then there's no need for Robbie to apologize.
