A young UK student was sent home from school this week after capitalizing on single pumps of hand sanitizer.

13-year-old Oliver Cooper, the evil genius behind this plan and student at Dixons Unity Academy in Leeds, reportedly walked away with over £9 after charging 50 pence per pump.

Jenny Tompkins, the mother of the boy, shared her son's walk of shame home from school on Facebook.

"This is a picture of my teenage son just getting in from school," she began.

"Why is he getting in from school at 10:53am you ask? Schools don't finish until 3pm..."
"Well the little turd has just been expelled from school for the day after been caught charging students 50p a squirt for hand sanitiser to protect themselfs from the bloody corona virus!! "

"Very hard to discipline this behaviour when his dad phones him from work to call him a f^ck1ng legend."

The BBCreported that Dixons Unity Academy said it was not against the rules for a student to privately sell pumps of hand sanitizer and that Cooper had been sent home for an unrelated reason.

Oliver spent all his profits on Doritos, while "saving the rest to buy a kebab later."

While some have dubbed the boy a legend, others think he's vastly in the wrong.

Nonetheless, taking an advantage of an epidemic does leave a bad taste in one's mouth.

Currently, the UK has a confirmed 590 cases of COVID-19, with ten fatalities so far. Similar to US issues, UK retailers have found themselves with a shortage of basic sanitary products as hysteria reigns over citizens.
