Sacha Baron Cohen shocked the world on Thursday, October 1, when Amazon Prime dropped a surprise trailer for a sequel to his hit 2006 film, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

Perhaps even more surprising than the imminent arrival of Borat 2 was the trailer's revelation that Vice President Mike Pence would be appearing in the film.

Many Twitter users were glad to see Borat has only become bolder since we've seen him last.

When Cohen pulled this stunt last February, many news outlets covered it, but none guessed that the Trump impersonator was actually the character Borat in disguise.

Many Americans online seemed ready to see some craziness after experiencing the real-world oddness of the country's political culture.

The title of the new Borat movie is, officially, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.

Who could have guessed this is the direction 2020 would take?

The new Borat movie premieres on Amazon Prime this upcoming October 23, just before the American Presidential elections.
