Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert was mocked online after she took to X, formerly Twitter, to thank the Adams County Republican Party for having her as a speaker at a recent event—only to be quickly roasted for how few people appeared to have actually attended.
The photos showed that only a few dozen people were actually in attendance and were accompanied by the following caption:
"Great to be with you today, Adams County GOP!"
You can see her post below.
The photos Boebert shared showed an event space with a lot of empty seats.

People noticed, whether Boebert liked it or not.
Boebert is encountering significant challenges in her effort to maintain her position in Congress after switching districts to run in the more Republican CO-04 to succeed outgoing Rep. Ken Buck.
In January, Boebert stunned observers by finishing fifth in a Republican straw poll for the new congressional district she aims to represent. During a GOP primary debate, she defended herself against accusations of being a "carpetbagger."
Because Buck decided to resign from Congress rather than serving out the remainder of his term, there will now be two elections held on June 25th, one special election to fill out Buck's term and one GOP primary election to decide who the nominee will be on the November ballot. Boebert is only competing in the primary, and got a boost when it was announced that that ballot would appear first.
