Lauren Boebert's Latest Accusation Of What 'The Left Wants' Is Actually Shockingly Accurate

The MAGA Congresswoman has long taken issue with letting kids identify as they see fit.

Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert has long taken issue with letting children identify as they see fit and has joined numerous conservatives who've engaged in a wider pushback against the LGBTQ+ community.

So virulent is Boebert's homophobia she once said it’s not "unreasonable to require people" to be at least 21 before they can come out of the closet.

But Boebert appeared to get something right this week about letting people be who they are after she tweeted:

"The Left wants kids to be able to identify as anything they want... except conservative."

You can see her tweet below.

Given Christian nationalists and White nationalists in the GOP have made "conservative" synonymous with homophobic, transphobic and racist in the last decade, not wanting more children to grow up as hate-filled bigots rings true.

The overwhelming majority of LGBTQ+ people do not align themselves with the Republican Party given the GOP's extensive history of demonizing the community.

And now, many are actually agreeing with Boebert for hitting the nail on the head whether she meant to or not.

Boebert is one of the most high-profile anti-LGBTQ+ members of Congress, sharing bigoted opinions about members of the Biden administration and even complaining about the existence of drag bars.

Boebert has previously made headlines for homophobic attacks against Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, at one point criticizing him for taking parental leave amid a global supply-chain crisis, saying he was "not working" because he was "trying to figure out how to chestfeed."

She has also suggested opponents of Florida's controversial "Don't Say Gay" law should just "build your own Florida." Boebert claimed that the law protects children from doing "irreversible damage to their bodies," employing anti-trans rhetoric in response to an order from Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott that for a time required state agencies to open child-abuse investigations into families whose children receive gender-affirming procedures.

More recently, she was excoriated for offering "prayers" to the victims of a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs—conveniently ignoring the fact that she has elevated anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric that has made attacks against the LGBTQ+ community more commonplace.

White House Slammed After Replacing Obama Portrait With Painting Of Trump's Assassination Attempt

The White House is facing heavy criticism after it posted a video on X showing off a new painting of President Donald Trump's assassination attempt last summer—that is now hanging where an official portrait of former President Barack Obama was once displayed.

The portrait of Obama, unveiled in 2022 during former President Joe Biden’s administration, remains on display in the White House but has been relocated. Originally hung near the staircase to the presidential residence on the State Floor, it has been moved to the opposite wall—where a portrait of former President George W. Bush once hung.

Once again displaying the incompetence inherent in the administration, Republican President Donald Trump's Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) held his first press conference on Monday.

The purpose was for HHS head Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to spout the misinformation, pseudoscience, and conspiracy theories the antivaxxer is known for.

Silicon Valley Crosswalks Hacked To Play Brutal Fake Messages From Musk And Zuckerberg

Pedestrian crosswalks across Silicon Valley in northern California are, funnily enough, mocking billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg after hackers programmed them to play fake messages.

The unexpected messages were heard in Palo Alto, Redwood City, and Menlo Park—home to Zuckerberg's expansive Meta headquarters. In one instance, a Musk impersonator offered passing pedestrians a Tesla Cybertruck in exchange for friendship.
