Representative Lauren Boebert, a Colorado Republican, attacked Vice President Kamala Harris on Twitter posting Harris "knows so little about everything that it’s almost impressive.”

Although Boebert's tweet did not specifically reference any action Harris has taken in recent days, it does come after she met with the leaders of Poland and Romania to affirm the United States' commitment to its allies following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The irony here is that Harris is significantly well-educated and Boebert is not.

Harris, who previously served as the District Attorney of San Francisco, California, as California's Attorney General, and as a member of the United States Senate, graduated from Howard University and the University of California, Hastings College of Law.

Boebert dropped out of high school, eventually gaining a GED in 2020, a few months before starting her term in the House of Representatives. She previously worked for a drilling company and owns Shooter's Grill, a restaurant in Rifle, Colorado, where staff members are encouraged to openly carry firearms.

Since entering office, Boebert has been criticized for her opinions on numerous topics, often making headlines for backing participants in the Capitol riot of January 6 and regularly downplaying the severity of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic while spreading conspiracies about the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

Many have criticized Boebert for her remarks.

Boebert made headlines last September after she attacked Harris, demanding that she be impeached for not invoking the 25th Amendment to remove President Joe Biden from office over his handling of the Afghanistan war, sharing conspiracy theories about his mental fitness.

Boebert's claim referred to remarks Harris made in April 2021 about being the "last person in the room" with Biden when he made the decision to pull all United States troops out of Afghanistan. She went on to accuse Harris and Biden of wanting to turn the United States into "a socialist nation."

Her efforts received significant backlash, including from members of her own party, for not appearing to know how the 25th Amendment, which formally outlines the transition of power if the President is unable or unfit to serve, works.

Boebert's critics pointed out that it is up to the Vice President and a majority of the sitting Cabinet members to vote accordingly if they feel the President cannot fulfill their duties, and that her criticisms of Harris were misplaced.

Kansas Hit With One Of The Largest Tuberculosis Outbreaks In History—And Trump Is Making It Worse

Kansas is currently facing one of the largest tuberculosis (TB) outbreaks in history but the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has been unable to alert the public to the extent that it could, due to former President Donald Trump's "pause" on health agency communications.

TB is a bacterial infection primarily affecting the lungs, with active cases causing symptoms such as chest pain, coughing up blood, weight loss, and chills. When left untreated, it can be fatal. TB is contagious only when symptoms are present, but people with latent TB, who do not exhibit symptoms, cannot spread the infection.
