Guy Calls Cops On Black Woman Who He Doesn't Believe Is Disabled—And Gets His A** Handed To Him

Guy Calls Cops On Black Woman Who He Doesn't Believe Is Disabled—And Gets His A** Handed To Him

A Black TikToker filmed footage of a White man berating her for parking in an accessible parking spot at a Walmart because he believed she did not have a disability.

"Had my first experience with an [entitled person] this morning," wrote Angel Sims, a.k.a. @angelsims0602, in the video's text overlay.

The clip showed a White male in overalls approaching to tell her just because she had an accessible parking sticker indicating she was disabled "doesn't mean [she's] right."

The parking lot was not full and he was able to secure a spot himself. In spite of this, he felt compelled to harass Sims based on his assessment of her abilities.

He told her:

"You're not handicapped."
"You don't need to be in that spot."

While recording their interaction, she told him:

"You don't know what's going on with me, either. Mind your business."

The man said he was going to call the police, to which Sims responded:

"Get 'em out here. 'Cause y'all need to learn how to mind your own business."

She continued:

"You're in my business."

The clip then showed the man sitting on a motorized cart and talking to responding police officers, one of whom told the man nothing could be done because Sims was parked legally.

The man replied:

"That's fine, as long as that person is handicapped."

The clip ended with him scooting away past an officer who shook his head.

Sims told the police:

"Thank you guys."

Although we are used to seeing those with visible disabilities with an accessible parking sticker, there are many individuals who have hidden disabilities—many of which involve neurological or muscular issues—who also require the identifying decal.

TikTokers pointed out examples in the comments section.

Sims also commented on how quickly the man's demeanor flipped when authorities arrived on the scene and didn't support him.

This video served as a reminder a person with an accessible parking sticker doesn't owe anyone an explanation about their health, much less have the police called on them.
