Joe Biden made a rare personal dig at Donald Trump after being asked if he'd "lost a step" to the Trump campaign--a personal dig with an emphasis on Donald Trump's ramp fiasco at West Point not long ago.

Biden responded:

"Look at how he steps and look at how I step."

Biden said:

"Watch how I run up ramps and he stumbles down ramps. OK? Come on."

He added it was a very valid question to ask candidates about their physical health.

"I'm a great respecter of fate, I realize anything can happen to anybody at any age, any time."
"But I promise you I would not be running unless I was in very good health."

The candidates have traded blows since Biden was confirmed as the nominee for the Democratic Party, with Trump incessantly calling Biden "Sleepy Joe" on Twitter, but rarely does Biden engage with Trump in the same dialogue.

Folks already have some theories about how this new trade of insults is going to work out:

According to FiveThirtyEight, Biden is currently favored to win the election, calling into question the Trump campaign's efforts to say the Biden campaign has lost step.

The election is coming up fast—and it will be time for America to make its choice.
