Bette Midler Just Wrote A Poem On Twitter About Mitch McConnell That Is Shady AF

Legendary entertainer Bette Midler isn't shy about her political views.

The queen routinely skewers President Donald Trump and his ilk on Twitter, often using limericks.

Her latest targeting Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is no different.

McConnell refuses to bring bills passed by the House addressing urgent issues like election security and gun violence to the Senate floor for a vote.

His unwillingness to pass an election security bill to protect American democracy from foreign interference sent #MoscowMitch trending on Twitter, referencing the Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Bette mused about McConnell's favorite colors in her limerick using the hashtag #MoscowMitch which McConnell said he hates, so please don't use it everywhere.

And people couldn't get enough.

It's far from the only time Bette has used rhyme to offer political commentary.

Here's to Bette.

A retrospective of her early work is available here in a five CD set that includes the albums:

  • Divine Miss M (1972)
  • Bette Midler (1973)
  • Songs for the New Depression (1976)
  • Broken Blossom (1977)
  • The Rose OST (1979)

Buttigieg Explains What He Wants 'Everyday Life' To Look Like For Americans In Pitch Perfect Rant

On his Substack Wednesday, former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg wrote about why he decided to enter the "manosphere" and sit down with the hosts of the Flagrant podcast.

Communities within it include men's rights activists, incels, Men Going Their Own Way, pick-up artists, and fathers' rights groups."

Could SMG return to the IKWYDLS reboot?

Sarah Michelle Gellar? More like "Sarah Dead Gellar."

At least that’s what the iconic scream queen told director and best friend Jennier Kaytin Robinson when she tried to pitch all the ways to bring back Helen Shivers’ frozen corpse to life for the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot.

Hegseth Dragged After Report Reveals He Demanded His Own Makeup Studio At Pentagon

Hating drag queens and insisting on traditional gender roles is a Republican article of faith at this point.

So why is far-right MAGA Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who has tried to kick trans people out of the military, demanding that a makeup studio be added to the Pentagon press briefing room for him?
