People Break Down Which Things Scream 'Give Me Attention!'

People Break Down Which Things Scream 'Give Me Attention!'

It's nice to be noticed every now and then.

But for some people, now and then isn't nearly enough time to be the center of attention.

As a result, these people will often behave in a certain way, or say or do specific things to ensure that all eyes are on them at all times.

While some of these tactics might easily go unnoticed, oftentimes these cries for attention are about as subtle as a freight train.

Redditor nextsperi was curious to hear of the different types of behavior people exhibit when they demand to be the center of attention, leading them to ask:

"What screams 'Give me attention!' ?

Can't you see how sad I am? Everyone else can!

"I swear to f*ck, the moment I move my hand away from them to try and pick something up, I'm suddenly treated to the screams of purgatory from the drama queen."- Dumbass438

Let's talk about something more interesting, ME!

"In my experience with groups, loudly interrupting me right as I am explaining something or telling a story to immediately take over the conversation with their own input or story."

"For my ADHD and anxious talker friends, don't worry, I wasn't poking at you."

The lack of specificity is telling...

"When people make vague posts to social media which start something like: 'THAT’S IT, I’M DONE, you just can’t trust SOME PEOPLE'.”

"But then don’t disclose any details about what was indeed the problem."

"If you listen very carefully, you can hear the gentle brushing by of tumbleweed while they wait for attention."- Environmental_Foot54

This is where I stand, and I'm RIGHT!

Get out of my way, it's me!

"Extreme rudeness is the ultimate attention tantrum."- PM_ME_YOUR_THEREMIN

When we see this type of behavior, we can't help but wonder why these people are so determined to have everyone's attention.

Might be out of loneliness, possibly desperation, or maybe it is just pure selfishness.

One hopes that whatever their motives, these people might soon realize that being the center of attention isn't always something to celebrate.

MAGA Senator Slammed After Scolding Americans For Whining About High Gas Prices Amid Iran War—And Wow

Kansas Republican Senator Roger Marshall chastised Americans for complaining about high gas prices and insisted they should consider that their "national security is even more important" than whatever blows are being dealt to their wallets at the gas pump.

Consumer prices are up 3.3% compared to a year ago, largely fueled by a surge in energy costs. The energy index jumped 10.9% in a single month as oil and gas prices climbed sharply. Amid the Iran war and the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, oil has risen back to around $100 a barrel, pushing gasoline prices up by a record 25%.

Kid Goes Viral After Leaving Sweet Note On Plane For The Person Sitting In Their Seat On The Next Flight

A lot is going on in our world right now that gives us pause, and some of us might feel our hearts breaking under the weight of all of it. That makes acts of kindness, no matter how small they are, more important than ever before.

X user @oatmilkanie shouted out an unidentified child who clearly got the memo when they boarded a plane and discovered that the child had written a note for the next person to sit in their seat, directly on the paper nausea bag that's snuggled in the seat pocket in front of the passenger's knees.

Woman Creeped All The Way Out After Finding Hidden Door In The Ceiling Of Her Airbnb

A lot of us already cannot sleep well when we're visiting someone else's home or staying in a hotel, because we're uncomfortable in a different bed and maybe even a little creeped out in the unusual space.
