Mom Weirded Out After Checking Baby Monitor Only To See Her Kid Staring Directly Into Camera

Moment of honesty, kids can be creepy—especially when they're young and don't have the self awareness to just … not.

They don't necessarily mean to be, it's just that kids are honest with their emotions and impulses - and also they have giant eyes and a tendency to stare.

Right at you. Unblinkingly.

Seeing. Knowing. Judging.

Kids are weird. I say this as a parent and with tons of love, but it's facts. If you're not ready for life to get really weird with no rhyme or reason, don't have kids.

Young mom Christie George is giving TikTok a firsthand look at what life can be like with an unintentionally creepy kid, and it's got users sympathizing, cracking up, and maybe calling for an exorcist.

Christie posted a clip showing a moment of mundane life as a mom to a wee little creeper. The short video showed her, with a text overlay that says "I'll just check the baby monitor."

The clip then shows the baby monitor, where we get our glimpse of mommy's little weirdo. Christie's daughter just happened to be seated close to the monitor staring directly into it when mom checked it; giving us all a little heart attack.

The screen was essentially just giant eyes, her nose, and her little mouth - all in the terrifying greyscale security monitor color palette horror movie buffs know and love. Why not throw some Amityville Horror music over top of that and have some fun with the fact that your baby was using the baby monitor to monitor mom; being a baby baby monitor monitor, if you will?

So here's Christie and her creepy cutie.

Reply to @christiegeeee what’s worse, part 1 or 2? 😂

The music really is the cherry on top, no?

Some people theorize that the small light, maybe a sound or electronic shifts attract babies attention to baby monitors because this sort of thing isn't uncommon at all. Little kids stare straight into them quite often.

Other parents totally sympathized - and had a good time laughing at Christie's expense.

A group of 77 Nobel laureates wrote an open letter to Senate lawmakers stressing that confirming Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as President-elect Donald Trump's Secretary of Health and Human Services "would put the public’s health in jeopardy and undermine America’s global leadership in health science."

The letter, obtained by The New York Times, represents a rare move by Nobel laureates, marking the first time in recent memory they have collectively opposed a Cabinet nominee, according to Richard Roberts, the 1993 Nobel laureate in Physiology or Medicine, who helped draft it.
