Despite the phenomenal success of the masterpiece that is The Bear, reporters at Sunday night's Golden Globes felt the need to bring up Jeremy Allen White's recent Calvin Klein ad to the show's cast.
But his Bear costars, especially Ayo Edebiri, weren't having any of it.
The FX series had a remarkable night, winning the award for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy. Additionally, White won for Best Actor in the same category while Edebiri took home the Best Actress award.
Still, White's viral underwear ad was the topic of discussion.
While speaking with Extra, the entire cast was shown a blown-up photo of White in his, well, whites, and asked:
“What went through your mind when you saw this?”
Without hesitation, Edebiri stepped forward, took the photo, turned it around and placed it against a wall, explaining:
“I’m putting it away… That’s my boy! This is a work function, do you know what I mean?”
Costar Abby Elliott also added:
“This is our family!”

Once again, Edebiri voiced her displeasure.
“I’m happy for him, that’s my boy, but I want people to understand he’s my coworker.”

a blown up poster is insane and what did he want them to say? do better Extra (Melvin Robert’s) this is out of pocket and would be extremely weird if it was a picture of a woman.

In the press room after his Golden Globe win, White also fielded several questions about his Calvin Klein campaign, acknowledging the viral nature of the ad has been "bizarre."
“It is strange."
“It’s been a weird couple of days. It is bizarre doing a Calvin Klein ad and it is even more bizarre having it come out.”
