The 'Wicked' star's brother Frankie took to X to defend his sister after someone started a rumor about Ariana being a cannibal to deter fans from buying concert tickets.

People on the internet have started bizarre rumors about pop star Ariana Grande—and her brother Frankie is not having it.

Influencer and former Big Brother star Frankie Grande took to social media to defend his sister after a rumor somehow started that she's a cannibal. Yes, a cannibal.

Grande took to X to put fans in place, and to let them know the rumor doesn't even make sense anyway given Ariana Grande's typical diet.

Grande wrote:

"HAHAHAHAHAHA. Wow! This might be the most creative and lowest y’all have ever gone. Reaching new depths daily!"
"Listen, I know my sister’s been eating the girls up for years but this a bit extreme!"
"Besides, she’s vegan. 🌱 "
"See you on tour! 🌈"

How exactly the rumor got started isn't clear, but it seems to have been an effort to deter people from buying tickets to Ariana Grande's upcoming tour. The lower the sales, the easier the tickets are to get for true fans, of course.

It's also believed to be a possible reference to a story Ariana Grande told to actor Penn Badgley during a recent interview on his podcast Podcrushed.

Grande said that earlier in her career when she was asked at a fan event which person living or dead she'd like to have dinner with, she answered Jeffrey Dahmer, the notorious cannibal murderer, because she had a childhood fascination with serial killers.

Ariana Grande's fans were 100% on board with his defense of his sister and applauded him for taking pranksters to task.

In the end, it seems like all this online rumor-mongering might have been for naught.

A day after Frankie Grande's tweet, the plot thickened when Ariana posted an announcement on her Instagram Story that seemed to indicate she was canceling or postponing the tour as she continues working on the two film adaptations of the Broadway musical Wicked, the first of which premiers in November.

Grande wrote that she has "decided to put a pin in all things that are not Wicked for now." Typical cannibal response, of course.

Vice President J.D. Vance and the wider Trump administration are facing criticism now that Colonel Susan Meyers was removed from her post as commander at Greenland's Pituffik Space Base after breaking with Vance in an email she wrote following his controversial visit to the island territory.

Citizens of both Greenland and the Faroe Islands are full citizens of Denmark. As one of the Overseas Countries and Territories of the European Union, Greenland’s citizens are also recognized as EU citizens.

Karoline Leavitt Dragged After Making Mind-Numbing Claim About Trump's Tariffs Reversal

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is getting called out after she attempted to justify President Donald Trump's sudden reversal on his proposed tariffs, telling reporters that his actions make sense because he has a master plan to make the world bend the knee.

Trump declared a full 90-day suspension of all the “reciprocal” tariffs that took effect at midnight April 10—except for those on China—in a dramatic about-face from a president who had long championed his historically high tariff rates as permanent.
