Rep. Jamaal Bowman and the MAGA Rep. got heated on the steps outside the Capitol after Bowman heckled Rep. George Santos for not resigning—until AOC stepped in.

In a dramatic turn of events, Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and New York Democratic Representative Jamaal Bowman engaged in a heated shouting match outside the Capitol on Wednesday.

The clash between the two lawmakers, hailing from opposite sides of the aisle, reverberated through the air, capturing the attention of onlookers and the media alike.

However, it was the unexpected intervention of Bowman's fellow New York Democrat, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, that ultimately defused the volatile situation, injecting a swift jab at Greene.

She said:

"She ain't worth it, bro."

You can view video of the incident below.

The incident unfolded just moments after Bowman and Ocasio-Cortez concluded their vocal opposition to indicted New York Republican Representative George Santos.

Santos, who recently faced a litany of charges including fraud and money laundering, staunchly maintained his innocence. Despite surviving an expulsion motion earlier that day, the weight of the accusations against him intensified the calls for his resignation from both sides of the aisle.

It was against this backdrop that Bowman, standing atop the Capitol steps, passionately implored Santos to step down, demanding he exhibit a modicum of dignity. Ocasio-Cortez, sensing an opportune moment to add her voice to the chorus, echoed Bowman's sentiments, urging Santos to exit from his position of power.

In the midst of this charged atmosphere, Greene—known for her provocative statements and unyielding support for former President Donald Trump—interjected with her own contribution to the debate, calling for the impeachment of President Joe Biden. This seemingly unrelated proclamation served only to heighten the tensions already boiling over between the lawmakers.

It was at this critical juncture that Ocasio-Cortez stepped forward—and many echoed her pointed dismissal of Greene.

Indeed, many others also came to Bowman's defense and criticized Greene.

While the shouting match between Greene and Bowman may have captured the headlines, it was Ocasio-Cortez's intervention that stole the show.

In a single moment, her measured words served as a sobering reminder of the need for restraint and unity in the face of political discord.

It is unlikely Greene feels the same.

Trump Gives Mind-Numbing Reason For Why He Voted By Mail-In Ballot After Railing Against It

Although he regularly claims mail-in ballots are used by Democrats to rig elections, President Donald Trump was called out for voting by mail in Florida's election on Tuesday—and saying it's okay that he did it because he's the "president."

Palm Beach County records show that Trump cast a mail-in ballot earlier this week in the special election for Florida’s House District 87, the district that includes his Mar-a-Lago residence. He also voted by mail in the January primary for the same race.
